A word about capacity: Video professionals have consistently indicated that battery change disruptions can be minimized by using a battery supplying a run time of at least 1-1/2 hours. Careful consideration should be given to the power requirements of the equipment and the requirements of the shoot. Consider not just tape length but the time the camera will be "hot". Battery run time can be easily approximated by dividing the watt hour rating of the battery by the power consumption (in watts) of the equipment. For example a 25 watt camera will operate for approximately 2 1/4 hours on a 65 watt hour ProPac, 1 3/4 hours on a TrimPac and 1 hour on a Proformer.
