The PMP7040 40 GB Portable Media and MP3 Player and Video Recorder from Coby is a portable media player and video recorder with a 7" LCD screen, integrated stereo speakers, an SD/MMC memory slot and 40 GB of internal storage. The player can input and output video and audio using standard A/V connections, allowing you to use it as a handheld device or to connect it to a home theatre for playback and recording. It also plays back all standard computer video formats, MP3 music and digital camera images. This is a great solution for anyone looking for a portable personal media player and recorder.

• 40 GB Capacity: The player's spacious 40 GB hard drive allows you to store up to 10,000 MP3 songs, 20,000 WMA songs, 20,000 high-resolution images or 150 hours of video. This gives you plenty of space for all your digital media.

• Video Recording: You'll be able to input video from an analog source, such as composite TV or S-Video, and record it in MPEG-4 format directly to the player's hard drive. This lets you record your favorite TV show to watch at your convenience -- either from the comfort of your own living room or anywhere you feel like taking the player.

• 7" Color Screen: The player features a 7" color LCD, giving you ample screen space to watch video in comfort.

• Long Battery Life: The rechargeable lithium-polymer battery can provide up to 7 hours of playback on a single charge. The battery is detachable, allowing you to carry a spare battery for when you need more than 7 hours of life from your player.

• Video Playback: The player features support for standard video formats such as AVI, MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4. This allows you to playback a variety of file formats on your player. You'll even be able to connect it directly to a TV via a standard S-Video or Composite connection for playback.

• Image Viewer: The image viewer lets you take your favorite photos with you wherever you go. You can even connect the player to a TV and share digital slideshows with friends and family. You can even insert a Secure Digital or MMC memory card from your digital camera to view images directly on the player.

• MP3 Player: The player will play all your favorite music in MP3 or WMA format, allowing you to have a library of music in your pocket. Of course you can also connect the player to your home stereo for high-fidelity music playback.

• Cross Platform Compatibility: The player is fully compatible with both Windows and Macintosh computers with USB 2.0 connections, letting you download media to your player regardless of the operating platform that you use.
