This little piece do amazing job by magnifying everything that you see in the viewfinder WITHOUT loss of any part.
Very usefal and practical item for reasonable price.

It's a step up from the standard viewfinder. Clicks in and your ready to go. Magnifies slightly making the view a little easier to see and focus. Not expensive and somewhat useful.

Don't expect a huge difference but the magnification is worth it for the price. I think any enlarged view is important especially when focusing manually on a DSLR. I will keep this eyepiece on permanently.

I needed to get this after purchasing a lensbaby Control Freak. The focus is very tight and I was having a hard time with it (I have very good vision). The DK-21M enlarges the image enough so I can get that focus, but not so much that I lose viewfinder info or any of the image. My one complaint is that the eyecup is a little stiff.

I'm legally blind and this magnifier does increase the size of the viewfinder. I've tried using Live View, but I've used a VF so long it's more natural for me. I use this product on a Nikon D90.

It definitely makes viewfinder much more like FF camera one. Only one small gripe - rubber is too hard.

I have found this very helpful for the smaller viewfinder on the D300 and I like not having to push my eye all the way into the viewfinder too.

I have this installed on my D7000.

The eyepiece now protrudes far enough that I can look over the top of my glasses and get my eye into the viewfinder. The magnification isn't great but it is noticeable. For me, it doesn't block any portion of the viewfinder at all. I have no difficulty seeing the information bar and image together.

I highly recommend this product

My eyes are not what they used to be, so I ordered the DK-21M for my D300.

When it arrived, it took all of maybe 60 seconds to change from the original eyepiece to the new one...very fast, very easy.

I can now see all my settings and everything else that I've had a hard time seeing before, clear and legible.

I would definately buy again, very cheap price to see like I used to years ago.

I bought this for my D70s and I am glad I did. Now the viewfinder is much bigger compared to before. I think that is a perfect Eyepiece for cameras that have crop-size sensor

I was expecting more magnification from this. It's easy to snap on and gets your face off the back of the camera but that's about it.

I got this for my D300. While it has one of the better DX viewfinders, I missed the view of a full frame film camera. It is just a small magnification so that it will not dim the view, and my D300 looks pretty much like a friend's D700 when you look through the viewfinder. Great and cheap. Have never been tempted to take it off and hate it that Nikon doesn't make it fit on more of their cameras.

Does exactly what I expercted it to do. I wonder why Nikon does not make this a permanent part of the camera. Keeps me from smearing my nose on the screen trying to get close enough to the eyepiece, and magnifies the image!

Although it does magnify, the viewing size is not great enough to see the whole image and camera settings. If the viewing angle/size was larger, it would be worthwhile.
I quit using it and went back to the stock D80 eyepiece.

The D-21 Magnifying Eyepiece will be a great aid to getting a sharper focus when using my new Nikon D7000. I have over 20,000 images-all my photos, on my computer. The earliest ones are digitized film and slides going back 55 years. My eyes need some help. The D-21 will provide that help so that I can continue my photo hobby.

Thought it might be useful for burst shots - about the only time I use the vf instead of lcd - but...

It really doesn't make much difference in my tracking. That said, it's still that great Nikon quality.

I use it on my D70s right now, but will put it on my D90 when it gets here. I wear contacts so it helps make the object look bigger. The only thing wrong about it is it kinda bulky.
