The Diffusion Filter F04 from SureFire is a slip-on diffusion filter that is dedicated to flashlights with a 1.0" bezel.
The F04 converts the prefocused beam of your SureFire flashlight into a softer wide-angle beam for close up work, map reading, or searching in the bottom of your gear bag for your keys.

Diffuser eliminates the hot spot in the center of the beam. Provides even light which is perfect for use inside. Removes quickly for when you want the focused beam for distance.

I use this filter on my SureFire E2L Outdoorsman. It's perfect for spreading out the light and creating a more subdued look. Easy to put on and take off, yet no worrying about it randomly falling off. Found that the price point is good and have had no complaints. It does the job.
