The Giottos Rocket Air Blower is made from a silica gel, it is very powerful and refills quickly.
The Rocket Air Blower has an air valve to prevent it from breathing in dust. It blows out a powerful stream of air to blow dust away and to make cleaning lenses, cameras and filters a breeze.
- It stands upon its own and can be set on its side upon a table without rolling around
- Made of a non-toxic, environmentally friendly material, resistant to both high and low temperatures, tear-proof
- It is easily cleaned and quite powerful, and its nozzle can be removed and stowed

I used to think that a blower is a blower, but I must admit the Large Rocket from Giottos is a step above the rest. The airstream it puts out is focused and strong, and it is supposedly filtered (the rear-end air intake hole apparently has a filter so you don't end up blowing dirty air into your camera). But the fins that give it the rocket shape are actually quite useful; they allow you to sit it upended on a shelf so the tip remains clean. There are even holes in the fins for the looping in of a lanyard for those inclined to carry this around their neck. I'm not sure it has as much panache as a director's loupe, but it certainly would be different.

The Rocket Air Blower provides a clean blast of air without the residuals from canned air. The blower fits the hand comfortably and is easy to use. Occassionaly I need to open my pocket camera and blow dust off the sensor. It does the job!

Get that dust away from your rear lens elements. Also with the camera body, with the body cap off and mirror box facing the ground, blow "up" and let gravity do the rest with that pesky dust.

Great lens air blower. I have gotten this item before and was so impressed I got another for my other kit. The nozzle doesn't fall to the side when the rocket is squeezed like with other blowers causing you to miss the lens. This rocket blower blows the air where you want it and doesn't waste time. In the world of photography that is a must.

Powerful, lots of air, good for lots of usages, rocket look is a clever design allowing it to stand and not roll off onto the floor. I have the 7.5" model which is a challenge to pack in my camera bag but it's worth it.
