The Kaiser 40mm Plastic Lens Cap is a push-on style cap. It is designed to fit any camera or enlarger lens, binocular, tele-, micro-, or spotting scope lens. To use one, measure the outside diameter of your lens barrel. Generally speaking, order the cap size that is 1 or 2 millimeters larger than the size measured. The actual size needed depends on the lens in question. The cap should fit snuggly but not so tight that it is hard to remove.

Comments about Kaiser 40mm Push-On Lens Cap:
So I use this cap on my Summicron 50mm Rigid with a 12585 hood and B&W filter; this push-on lens just goes on top of the set up, and I never have to worry about the cap falling off as I do with the original Leica cap. Great buy!

Perfect replacement for Leica pinch tab lens cap which constantly falls off my 50mm Summicron.
