Better than using double A batteries.
Comes with Velcro to close battery door.

This adapter does the job - it's a little cumbersome but that is not the fault of the product.

This module connects my Quantum QB1+ to my Canon580EX Speedlight.
I lost my first one after four years. That one never malfunctioned and held up well. This one is identical.

I use the these cords to connect the Quantum Plus batteries to Canon 580 or Vivitar 285hv flash units. They always works perfect.

These fit the very popular series I 580 which was the predesessor to the 580 EXII. They are not interchangeable. This is a trapezoid shape or "drunk square" and the MB2 for the 580 II is square. Somehow I think folks tend to get these confused.

In addition ProMaster (which is a distributor, not a manufacturer) has line of flashes made for them that this cable fits and are fairly price point specific. (means a bargain when on sale) otherwise they are in the SunPak price range because they probably came out of the same place under their name.
