The Schoeps MSTC 64G is a stereo microphone system that allows two matched MK4 cardioid capsules to be mounted in an ORTF stereo configuration. The system includes a "T" shaped body and output stage that mounts two MK4 capsules at 6.69" (170mm) apart. The capsules are angles at 110 degrees for true ORTF placement. The fixed capsule angles and quick setup eliminate the guess work in ORTF stereo capturing of musical performances, soundscapes, theatrical performances, etc.
- Dual T Shaped Amplifier Body
- The MSTC 64G features a T shaped amplifier body for mounting two MK4 cardioid capsules at 6.69" (170mm) apart.
- Two MK4 Capsules
- Two stereo matched MK4 cardioid capsules are featured in this set. The radial design is a direct result of the demand for a cardioid capsule where the maximum pick up occurs on the side as opposed to the front (top) of the capsule.
- Fixed ORTF Angle
- The capsules are mounted at 110 degree angles for true ORTF stereo pickup.
