I recently used the VisibleDust System. (Both the cleaning solution and the swabs)
I have to admit I was a little nervous putting a swab with wet liquid on my sensor, but it was not that bad. When the product arrived, I read the directions twice and went about cleaning the sensor.
The system worked well. I was able to remove the built up dust that I have not been able to remove with other products.

Comments about Visible Dust Swabs for 1.5-1.6x Sensor - Green Series (12-Pack):
Work well, but way too expensive - also, why would you need to use a blower on the swab before putting liquid cleaner on it - this is what the manufacturer recommends " .. as fibres might have come loose during transportation ..." sure the material used should have the potential for loose fibres at this price?

Comments about Visible Dust Swabs for 1.5-1.6x Sensor - Green Series (12-Pack):
Dry method had always works for me in the past, but not this time. So I tried the web method using these swabs and they worked great. Took three times but finally got the job done.

Comments about Visible Dust Swabs for 1.5-1.6x Sensor - Green Series (12-Pack):
The swabs can be easily used in any space.
Results are great - following instructions and using the right cleaning liquid.
However - sometimes many paths are needed, which require many swabs - an expensive sum.

Comments about Visible Dust Swabs for 1.5-1.6x Sensor - Green Series (12-Pack):
The first time it took me a while (7 swabs) to get the hang of cleaning the sensor on my Nikon D7000. The second time it went much better. The trick is to get just enough solution on the swab. Follow the directions.
Gave it a 3 star rating because it's very expensive. If I can do 2 or 3 more cleanings using only 2 or 3 swabs each, it will finally be less expensive than sending it to Nikon.

Comments about Visible Dust Swabs for 1.5-1.6x Sensor - Green Series (12-Pack):
I find it silly to send your camera bodies in to get cleaned by the manufacturer.
I keep a package of sensor swabs in the camera bag and some cleaning solution and this way if I get any spots while out shooting, I can save editing time and keep the camera clean on the spot

Use 2 drops of sensor clean to went the fabric at the end of the swab and make a nice smooth stroke the long length of the sensor. One pass usually removes whatever is sticking to the sensor.

The Green Series swabs work very well no lint and wet cleaning is excellent, but Do Not use a swab more than once.
I gave it 4 stars because the price is to high!

A nasty dust covered sensor (actually the Optical Low Pass Filter in front of the sensor) came clean with 4 swab passes using these swabs and VDust "plus" cleaning solution.

Comments about Visible Dust Swabs for 1.5-1.6x Sensor - Green Series (12-Pack):
These are terrific "Swabs" for wet cleaning sensors. The shape of the swabs makes them fit better into the sensor chamber and therefore easier to clean the sensor than other manufacturers' swabs. I've had success using these swabs with 2 to 3 drops of VDustPlus and Eclipse from Photographic Solutions.

I bought this product, along with Sensor Clean, to clean the residue left behind using the orange swaps with Vdust solution. It worked great and is compatible with all Visible Dust solutions.

Comments about Visible Dust Swabs for 1.5-1.6x Sensor - Green Series (12-Pack):
When Nikon discontinued the D300 I decided that I had to purchase one (don't get me wrong, the D300s is nice, but I had no interest in the "s"). I ended up with a demo model from a local big box store (at least I got a discount), which is all fine and good except that a few parts were missing and someone had left a fingerprint smudge on the sensor! A FINGERPRINT!! ON THE SENSOR!!!! Grrrr.
I used these swabs in conjunction with the Smear Away solution from the same company, and after a couple of swabbings I was ready to shoot! Worked like a charm, perfect fit for my sensor size, and EXACTLY what I needed to make my camera purchase worthwhile!
