The Centro from Audient is a rack mountable stereo audio interface designed to bring the ease of use and control of a large format console to your digital audio workstation (DAW). Accepting up to six digital and six analog stereo audio sources, the Centro is great for switching, routing, cue mixing, and talkback. The primary audio interface is a durable 2U rack unit, while the remote user interface is a compact desktop unit that connects to the main unit with a single cable to minimize clutter.
The Centro allows you to audition multiple analog sources at the same time, along with a digital source. Any of the digital inputs can be routed to the dedicated digital output at the touch of a button with no repatching or plugging. Two stereo cue outputs provide zero-latency monitoring for performers. You can then guide their performances by connecting a mic to the talkback input. A footswitch jack is included for hands-free activation of the talkback.
Up to three sets of stereo speakers, a subwoofer, and headphones are all controlled by the desktop remote. Functions for full mute, channel mute, mono, phase, and dim are included for full control over your monitoring. All buttons and knobs are clearly labeled and laid out for easy, intuitive use.
