The MFC-J6920DW Wireless Color All-in-One Inkjet Printer from Brother prints up to 22 ppm in black and 20 ppm in color. The printer's 4 individual ink cartridge configuration, and optional super-high-yield cartridges, help reduce the cost of printing. The large 11 x 17" print size and low cost per page make it easy to print larger documents in-house, while automatic duplex printing helps reduce your paper consumption by up to 50%. The printer's dual 250-sheet input trays make it easy to switch between paper sizes or to execute high volume print jobs without stopping to reload.

Send full color faxes from the MFC-J6920DW itself or from a connected computer. The address book includes 200 speed dial locations for phone numbers and email addresses. The 400-page memory saves unprinted pages so you don't miss any important documents when the printer is out of paper. Additionally, the 35-page ADF lets you send multi-page 1 and 2-sided documents as large as 11 x 17".

The MFC-J6920DW isn't just about handling documents; you can use the machine for printing and sharing photos as well. The built-in memory card & USB drive slots accommodate SD, Memory Stick, MMC cards, and USB flash drives for PC-free printing and scanning without a computer. The printer can output borderless photos in common sizes up to 11 x 17". Download the free Brother iPrint&Scan app for your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android, or Windows Phone 7 to print directly from your mobile device.

In addition to USB connectivity, the MFC-J6920DW features wireless and wired networking so you can easily share the printer with others on your network. Additionally, you can print via AirPrint and Google Cloud Print from compatible devices. You can also scan directly to an email address, a cloud storage site, an FTP server, or an email server.

The flatbed handles pages as large as 11 x 17" while the ADF can copy, scan, and fax multipage 2-sided documents as large as 11 x 17" in 1 step. The bundled software includes OCR for Windows and Mac so you can scan documents and edit them on the computer.

This printer was our 3rd attempt at getting what we wanted. The 1st was the MFC-J6710DW. That one couldn't scan or copy duplex, or print duplex on 11x17. Then, we tried the MFC-J6910DW. We discovered that one, for some reason, could not enlarge onto 11x17 paper, only up to 8.5x14. The manual even said so. We were ready to give up when we found the just-released MFC-J6920DW. This one does it all: Duplex scanning, copying, and printing (all on up to 11x17), and enlarging onto 11x17 (one of the primary reasons for buying it).

The MFC-J6920DW does everything we need. The only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars is the touch screen interface. I much preferred the combination interface of the 6710/6910. Those have a touch screen, but also have number buttons and various other function buttons on the control panel. The touch screen on the 6920 tries, perhaps a bit too hard, to emulate smartphones with swiping actions that don't respond very well, or over-respond (e.g. you try to scroll by one item and you end up moving 2 or 3). This printer is also somewhat noisy for an inkjet printer, especially when printing duplex or using the manual feed.

To me, the ultimate printer would be everything that the 6920 does, contained within the body of the 6910. The 6920 is only available in white, whereas the 6710 and 6910 were black, which we much preferred. To be the fair, the 6920 is a combination of white and black/grey; it's not completely white, and I'll admit, looks pretty nice on its own. Its footprint is also smaller than that of the 6910 and 6710, though not by much. We just like the all-black color better because it matches better with the rest of our decor.

      Great

Super easy setup. Not the highest quality print resolution, but for your basic stuff it's fine. Startup ink runs out pretty quick so buy replacements with the printer.

So far my printer has worked well. An associate recommended this model because he loves his. He said ink usage was much lower on his than his friend's competitor's brand. This is my second Brothers printer for a small engineering business. Love both.

Comments about Brother MFC-J6920DW Wireless Color All-in-One Inkjet Printer:

This printer is awesome and I am really impressed as how you can remotely scan and save to any computer in your network with options of jpg or PDF formats. Large scanning surface is really a blessing for engineers and the architects. Having two trays mekes it a lot easier to choose paper size not having to change papers each time you have different printing needs size wise. The software that comes with it is awesome too and looks like they have thought every thing through proving you with a handful of tools to use with this multifunctional device. I have seen a lot of comments regarding not being able to get the wireless scan to work, but I didn't have any problem with it so far testing it on my desktop and laptop. I am really happy with this purchase specially at a manufacturer's discounted price. I strongly would recomment this printer for people who need to have large document scanned or printer.

Comments about Brother MFC-J6920DW Wireless Color All-in-One Inkjet Printer:

                Highlights:
Wifi for remote printing and scanning
Full 11x17 printing, scanning, and copying
Bonus feature of being able to scan/ save to and print from a flash drive or SD floppy
Touch screen programming in order to remove the need for a laptop or computer (after initial setup)

Color scanning is a strong match comparison to what you would get from your local "printing/ shipping" business.
                Great!! color management.

Only issue (which might be a user one) is scanning one front/back page of a book to a double sided sheet with both pages correctly rotated. I'm sure there is a setting for this that I just haven't found yet.

The pet-peeve issue which would be nice to have is for the top of the scanner to elevate up a couple notches to allow for book or larger media scanning that isn't flat.

Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone.

Comments about Brother MFC-J6920DW Wireless Color All-in-One Inkjet Printer:

I use it constantly as I work from home. I was able to connect to WiFi fairly easily. Their Customer Service is pretty good but # is hard to find in all the documents that come with it. The 2 tray system does not work when printing from Outlook if the papers are of same size in both try. It works for any other application, I hope. I knew from other reviews that it makes a lot of noise but it was like a "something just broke sound" ... BUT it quieted down after couple weeks of use. It says ink cost is low and I hope it's true. I think default print is like Draft compared to my previous printer. I think that's how they save ink. Fax works fine but in auto mode, it picks up phone call after 4 rings. My answering machine picks it up at 6 so that wasn't working. I now handle FAX manually. But overall, it's not bad at all.

Comments about Brother MFC-J6920DW Wireless Color All-in-One Inkjet Printer:
