The Optex Wireless 2000 Annunciator System not only alerts shop owners of customers entering their store, but also provides driveway annunciation and perimeter awareness. The Wireless 2000 system includes an outdoor-rated PIR detector, as well as an RF receiver that can hold up to 9 detectors and chimes when the sensor detects motion.

The RF receiver also features a Form C relay for activation of a variety of electronic equipment. Additional accessories can be added, including the TC-20U wireless door/window contact, TS-10U wireless push-button transmitter for notification or activation applications, and TR-20U repeater for applications where extended range between Wireless 2000 devices is necessary. Whether for home or business, indoor or outdoor, the Wireless 2000 system is a great choice for perimeter awareness and wireless remote control.

Comments about Optex Wireless 2000 Annunciator System:

This product is easy to install and even mounted sending unit outside front door in covered area and still sends signal through wall and 70 feet away to receiver.
We use it at our bank to alert tellers and they like the idea of a signal back up although they have a camera just makes them more aware of walk ins

Comments about Optex Wireless 2000 Annunciator System:

Bought this for alerting me to anyone who is on my front or back porch. Also alerts to small pets who are the front or back door. Long range and battery lasts about a year with normal traffic. Easy to set up with different sounds and a visual light for each zone. Will be purchasing another sensor for more coverage.

Comments about Optex Wireless 2000 Annunciator System:

We use the Wireless 2000 Annunciator System here at the entry station at Dead Horse Ranch State Park. The one that was here when I started 14 years ago was at the end of it's life. A new one was installed the next year, (13 years ago) and finally died last month. NOTHING lasts forever, especially here in the Arizona sun. If you're careful with setup, locate a reasonably protected place to mount it, and are willing to accept the fact that absolutely nothing on planet Earth is perfect, then you'll be plenty satisfied. Sure if JUST THE RIGHT COLORED CAR goes by in JUST THE RIGHT LIGHTING CONDITIONS, it may not ring (or may ring unexpectedly when triggered on days with cloudy or fluctuating weather). I'm sure that in 13 years of being baked all summer at about a billion degrees Kelvin, this one will quit ringing as well. And, as we did with the last one, we'll give this one an honorable discharge.
The part that YOU play in the ultimate success or failure of this thing is:
        1) Read the instructions. Carefully.
        2) Read as many of these reviews as you can to get a sense of how the Annunciator works.
        3) Take your time and set it up intelligently. If you're not the tech-type that's good at this stuff, then ADMIT IT TO YOURSELF and find an accomplished nerd to help you out! I'm just such a nerd, and this thing worked fine from the moment the battery hit the contacts.

Comments about Optex Wireless 2000 Annunciator System:

Unit size bigger than expected, Especially sensor.Too big with no angle adjustment. Should also have spot direction instead of only wide view. Should be a switch to shut off chime as other things need to plugged like a camera. Would be nice to have when using 2 units is to have parallel or series connections so either one or both units are on to trigger sensor.I was hoping to use this with camera but has very limited use. I would send it back if it was easier to do so. I would not recommend for my use.
