The Pro Roller Bag 70 from Manfrotto holds two DSLRs with attached lenses such as a 24-70mm and 70-200mm, six additional lenses, and two flashes between touch-fastened red rigid dividers and gray padded flexi-dividers inside the main compartment. The Roller Bag also accommodates a 17" laptop behind a padded divider on the inside of the front flap and an iPad or similar sized tablet inside a zippered pocket on top of the laptop divider. There are numerous interior and exterior pockets and a hideaway tripod holder at the front.

Made from water-repellent Cordura nylon, this Pro bag features a multi-layered construction and a front shield that, along with four shock-absorbing feet, better diverts impact away from the middle of the bag. For further impact protection, the Pro bag features red rigid padded interior dividers that are built to withstand impact within the middle of the bag and maintain the interior shape.

Included inside the Roller Bag is a removable rain cover for extra protection from inclement weather. This Roller Bag can be transported using the retractable trolley handle or the sturdy grip handles at the top, side, and base of the bag.

I bought this in addition to a Think Tank. The bag will hold a ton, just like the think tank pro roller. Only difference is the way the bag opens,, color of the inside and the think tank has four wheels instead of two..

Comments about Manfrotto Pro Roller Bag 70:

As a professional shooter my gear is ever expanding. I needed something to safely store and transport my compliment of lenses, bodies, laptop etc. This bag fits the bill. Unfortunately, dealing with some serious back issues prevents me from using a photo backpack for long periods of time. This bag solved that. Great use of space, excellent ability to configure the interior dividers and I feel confident about the protection it offers my gear. At first I thought I might look dorky rolling around a camera bag at an event I was shooting, but thankfully I was wrong. No one gave it a second glance. It rolls easily and quietly. In short, its a supremely practical bag.

After looking at a mulitude of different roller bags, I decided on the Manfrotto Pro 70. Let me tell you, this bag holds a ton and does with with class & looks. The best part of this bag.....if you take in on an airline, it doesn't scream "Cameras Inside"...it looks like a clothes bag on the outside. Once loaded & closed and locked, the outside pockets will carry airline tickets & boarding passes, a magazine and a newspaper for use on the plane. The inside protects your equipment, and I mean protects. Buy this bag...You Won't Be Sorry!!

                    Just The Right Size

Comments about Manfrotto Pro Roller Bag 70:

I looked at all rolling cases near this size before choosing Manfrotto. I have many cases including Think Tank, Pelican, and Billingham. I had been looking for a rolling case I can fit two pro bodies in, 4 lenses, and my Elinchrom Quadra so i only have to carry one case besides my beauty dish bag. The case is plenty big for this purpose including putting a light stand in the tripod holder. The only thing I don't like is the way the tripod holder and straps work but overall it's a great case.

I like this bag a lot. It rolls very smoothly. Its just the right size, not too big, but not too small either. Its a manageable weight too. The weight was the factor in making me choose this over a Thinktank roller bag. This bag was only a few pounds less than the Thinktank, but I'm very particular about every single pound, because while rolling the bag the pounds dont matter at this weight, but when I pick it up to put in the car and take it out all the time, I don't want the pounds that I shlep to be from the bag. The equipment weighs enough!

I chose this bag over others because of its spacious compartmets and extra two inches of height over others. Also because I can fit a 300 and 80-200 2.8 lenses in it.

I am a corporate photographer and fly frequently. I wanted a bag that I could put two compact light stands, compact umbrellas, my D800 with 4 lenses, radio syncs, cords, chargers, photo releases, flashes and laptop. I checked the specs on many bags and this one was just a wee bit bigger than the others which allowed me to get my compact light stands inside long ways down one side. I love the fact that the bag looks like a normal rolling travel case and doesn't scream..."steal me!" When I head out on a shoot, I literally have everything I need in this case to get the job done. The best part is I can hop on a plane with everything I need and not have to check any bags. I looked at the Think Tank airport security but the specs just wouldn't work for my needs...though I am sure it is also a great case.

The handle is solid and operates smoothly. The wheels roll smooth. I like the latches that allow me to close the lid without needing to zip the whole thing shut...perfect for when I am opening and closing the case a lot. The the straps which keep the lid upright are invaluable. The outside pockets are perfect for odd items. LOVE this bag. It has made my travels so much easier.

Comments about Manfrotto Pro Roller Bag 70:

i was basically trying to find a backpack/rollerbag that accommodates a 17" laptop and all my photo gear. i am a big fan of manfrotto products.

there is a lot of space and i am carrying everything i need (along with not needed as well). i have a d800 with battery grip, 24mm 1.4, 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.4 and a micro 105mm 2.8, 3x flextt5, 2x sb910, 17" laptop, 10" tablet, filters, cables, batteries, power cords, etc. i like the internal straps that keep the bag open, when i have my heavy laptop with me, i try to support on a wall so it does not force the internal fabric so much.

overall great product. i would recommend to anyone. some other comments/nices to have:
                              - have not traveled with it yet, but i wish it had a tsa lock just like some carry on bags have.
                              - i have not tested the tripod strap yet.
                              - not a big fan of the side locks, but i guess they help to keep the bag more secure.
                              - not sure if my laptop gets a lot of protection...
                              - the small side pockets are simple but interesting, i carry papers and business cards.
                              - i wish the design was more modern, such as the pro-light or style+ series.

Light for size, thoughtful design, battle tough...Different concept to Think Tank and Tamrac offerings...

The old Kata team nailed this one. Feel's nice in the hand (in & Out), looks innocuous (no silly "tripod pocket" nomenclature on the outside).

Wheels and axles well designed, Deep dividers, fits a 300mm f2.8 and other long wide zooms. Accessory bag works for annoying coiled cables as well as Manfrotto equip.Internal zipper-pull fabric covers at closed ends, sturdy external zipper pulls (1) mean eazy to use a TSA lock...

I use this bag for wedding photography and it fits all of the lenses and flashes that I need on a wedding day. I would like to have more options for carrying light stands, but what is included works!

Comments about Manfrotto Pro Roller Bag 70:

I recently purchased the Pro Roller Bag 70 by Manfrotto due to the fact that I travel quite often for weddings and can't take the strain on my back that most camera bags end up giving. I did research on all of the current rolling bags for photographers and found that most people either have a Think Tank or Lowepro. I have to say I was ready to pull the trigger on the Think Tank but then came across this masterpiece on B&H and do not regret the decision one bit.

I love the feel and overall look to it. The roller bag doesn't scream "PHOTOGRAPHER" to the world.

The wheels and pull handle glide like butter. The zippers are large and the front face has a generous amount of padding to protect gear in the event this case flops for whatever reason. Upon opening the case, you are greeted with bright red accents and "tight" plush foam padding to really hold your gear in place while providing impact absorption. There are zipper pockets for batteries, memory cards, an iPad and a laptop.

This case is as functional as it is elegant.
