The black Pro Backpack 50 from Manfrotto holds a DSLR with a grip, an attached 70-200 f/2.8 lens, five additional lenses, a flash, and an extra DSLR body between padded dividers in the main compartment. It also accommodates a 15" laptop inside a dedicated laptop pocket at the back, and a tablet inside a padded zippered pocket on the inside of the front flap. Made from water-repellent Cordura nylon, this Pro bag features a multi-layered construction and a front shield that, along with four shock-absorbing feet, better diverts impact away from the middle of the bag. For convenience when traveling, there is a nylon-webbed trolley strap at the back. For carrying the bag, there is a detachable adjustable shoulder harness with an included padded waist belt and sternum strap, and a grab handle at the top. Additionally, a removable rain cover is included for inclement weather.

It will be beneficial to have additional pockets on the outside.

Lots of room, pockets, customizable options, and works with a variety of cameras (I use mine for a BMCC). Though it does not fall into the recommended bags in the various filtered searches, I recommend it for BlackMagic's cinema cameras. With a cage and tripod you can carry everything you need to shoot on your back. The adjustment straps also make it feel very lightweight and comfortable while filled with gear.

I bought this as a gift for my husband who is a backpack journalist. He has a mix of equipment between photography and videography. He was easily able to fit all of this equipment in this bag, including his tripod. It does get a big heavy when full, but it is built with durable & supportive straps to distribute this weight.

The size of the bag was perfect as a carry-on and even fit under the seat of the airplane. I would definitely recommend this bag.

I'm surprised that there aren't more mini compartments to store batteries, filters, etc.

I have the 50 packed full, but I can't do away with another bag for miscellaneous items. As you might expect Manfrotto has built in some fantastic quality into this product.

When full the 50's weight is fairly significant, but the straps/backpack distribute the weight well.

Exactly what I wanted. After buying it at the B & H store in New York, I took it home and tried putting all of my photo gear into the bag. It fit great (but it was a bit heavy--doh!). I will be traveling to South America later this year and then to Cuba next February and I wanted something that would carry my gear onto a commercial airline. I am pretty certain this will do the trick. Well made and looks great too!

I have purchased several bags and backpacks over the past few years this is by far is the best yet. I have a Canon 1DX and and I want to keep my 70-200 attached for fast easy access. No problem with this. I like the fact that you unzip the top to get to the camera. It is great backpack and it stands up on its own. Very nice.

This bag offers very good cushioning and protection for your gear. I bought it mainly because I needed enough space to carry my expanding lens collection and I'm looking to add another body soon. The customizable compartments allow for a lot of flexibility.

However, I do prefer bags with lots of compartments, and while this bag offer quite a few, they could be roomier and a little better designed. Also, I feel the shoulder straps could be a little wider for more comfort.

All and all this is a protective, well-made bag I don't feel I'll outgrow anytime soon.

This bag holds everything I need for my digital SLR set up and it's all easy to get to for once. And the overall size is comfortable and sleek for a bag this large. I wish the side pockets were compartmentalized to hold pens, flashlights, business cards, etc so they'd be easier to access instead of cramming it all in together.
