Comments about Manfrotto Pro Backpack 50:

I had Case Logic DSLR backpack before. I used it for 4 years, but it became too small. Manfrotto backpack is big enough. The only thing it could have more small packets. Otherwise I am very happy.

Purchased this bag for a trip abroad. The bag has plenty of room for several lens, camera bodies and my Macbook Pro with room to spare for my passport and personal items. The size of the bag was perfect as a carry-on and even fit under the seat of the airplane. I would definitely recommend this bag.

I use this backpack to save almost all my equipment, it has a lot of space. The only thing i would like is that they should add a little padlock. Nice product.

Comments about Manfrotto Pro Backpack 50:

I'm surprised that there aren't more mini compartments to store batteries, filters, etc.

I have the 50 packed full, but I can't do away with another bag for miscellaneous items. As you might expect Manfrotto has built in some fantastic quality into this product.

When full the 50's weight is fairly significant, but the straps/backpack distribute the weight well.

Exactly what I wanted. After buying it at the B & H store in New York, I took it home and tried putting all of my photo gear into the bag. It fit great (but it was a bit heavy--doh!). I will be traveling to South America later this year and then to Cuba next February and I wanted something that would carry my gear onto a commercial airline. I am pretty certain this will do the trick. Well made and looks great too!

I have purchased several bags and backpacks over the past few years this is by far is the best yet. I have a Canon 1DX and and I want to keep my 70-200 attached for fast easy access. No problem with this. I like the fact that you unzip the top to get to the camera. It is great backpack and it stands up on its own. Very nice.

This bag offers very good cushioning and protection for your gear. I bought it mainly because I needed enough space to carry my expanding lens collection and I'm looking to add another body soon. The customizable compartments allow for a lot of flexibility.

However, I do prefer bags with lots of compartments, and while this bag offer quite a few, they could be roomier and a little better designed. Also, I feel the shoulder straps could be a little wider for more comfort.

All and all this is a protective, well-made bag I don't feel I'll outgrow anytime soon.

This bag holds everything I need for my digital SLR set up and it's all easy to get to for once. And the overall size is comfortable and sleek for a bag this large. I wish the side pockets were compartmentalized to hold pens, flashlights, business cards, etc so they'd be easier to access instead of cramming it all in together.

Interior sections are easily rearranged to accommodate two full size SLR's with power packs as well as up to five lenses including two long tele-zooms. Great protection built into the construction. Side pockets provide ample space for filters. memory cards, and flash accessories. Convenient Tripod pouch stashes away when not in use. The bag feels very secure while wearing. Removable waist strap comes in handy when on a long trek. Fits comfortably in airplane overheads.

Comments about Manfrotto Pro Backpack 50:

I ordered the 50 after deciding the 30 was a little small. It holds my two bodies and 4 lenses plus extra stuff that most photographers would need.
Has lots of straps and adjustments some of which are a little too much and in the way and not always necessary but will take some getting used to.
Is very heavy by the time it's fully loaded and would be nice if it had wheels and a handle.
I don't know if it will work for carry on luggage on some small planes. I haven't tried flying with it yet. Will be good for hiking and even if not full of camera gear you could add some personal items or a change of sox and underwear if needed.

This backpack holds all of my camera gear. I went from two bags to one. I appreciate that I can also attach my tripod. It's so much nicer to have an all in one so that I don't have to jostle bags and a tripod around. I haven't used it enough at this pint to provide any concerns about the product. I'm just really please to have it.

Bought the Manfrotto 50 after viewing it on their website, and wanted to have what appeared to be a REAL photographer's backpack...TWO important benefits I never saw UNTIL I received the backpack...THE carrying handle is OFFSET from the top of the pack, making it MORE ergonomic than either of my Lowe backpacks, and the carrying combinations of straps and cinches are SO tight to the body that it feels as if UR hardly wearing a backpack!!! THIS is my NEW international backpack & can't wait for my gorgeous Asian pictorials in April-May! ROCKS!

Although it's a little bigger in size for carry-on luggage I had a chance to ask a customer about it in-store and the gentleman said it's still good to go regardless. Took this bad boy to skiing trip to Vermont and I was kind of nervous hitting the mountains with it but thanks to the around-body strap it felt like I wasn't wearing anything on my back(5DMIII+24-70mm+100mm in it). Other than that, very spacious and super comfy. The only thing which kind of bothers me is that my manfrotto tripod is too big for the tripod mount, I mean I'll fit it but I'm not suprised if I break it at some point, so check that yourself before you buy this backbag(works fine for smaller tripods, I'm sure). Still giving 5 stars!!!

If you have a lot of gear or if your spouse is in to photography, this is the perfect bag to carry everything you need, Tough, spacious, and practical.

Many zipper compartments for all your small stuff. Very comfortable when fully loaded. It says it will hold a 15" laptop. My 17" MacPro fits in with no problem. Even have a compartment for my iPad.

If you need or want a nice bag for all your gear, don't settle for anything less. Great value for the $$$

I use this bag for traveling. It can easily fit my D800E with 3-4 lenses (including one 300mm telephoto) and a tripod. The quality is very good and the backpack is comfortable to carry.
It will be beneficial to have additional pockets on the outside.
