      Comments about Manfrotto Pro Holster Plus 50:

      I got it to use with a 5D with attached 70-200mm lens. The bag is pretty bulky and can barely fit a DSLR with 24-70mm attached, a loose 20mm lens and flash. I was hoping for more internal room. Sor far the bag has been very durable.

      Comments about Manfrotto Pro Holster Plus 50:

      Bought this Holster Plus 50 to carry a Nikon D4 with a Nikkor 70-200 f/2.8, plus the Speedlight 910, and some filters. The 70-200 f/2.8 does fit perfect.

      Construction: very well made and rugged with very good padding (similar to Lowepro, which also have). It has an adjustable padded carry-strap.

      Negatives:
      1) the rain cover is NOT attached to the bag, it's loose inside and does NOT cover the camera bag in its entirety (not easy to slip-on). The carry-on shoulder strap must be disconnected on both sides and then with a very tight and snug fit slide the cover; but, you'll discover that the back of the Holster Pro 50 is exposed to rain;

      2) the top opening to insert/remove camera is curved-formed and is kind of hard with a tight-fit (again, this is for a Nikon D4 in mind). With the D4 and the 70-200mm f/2.8 the remaining inner space is only good for the Speedlight 910 flash and other minor items, but NOT for another lens!

      3) I use a CarrySpeed Pro camera strap, which is outstanding to carry the D4 with large telephotos like the Nikkor 80-400mm f/4.5 - 5.6, as well as the 70-200mm f/2.8. Well the strap must to be removed; and, yes, the 80-400mm will fit, but not with the Speedlight 910 flash.

      4) The side pockets are not expandable and but good for small items only (e.g., smart phones, cables, filters, SD's, XQD's, CF's), not even a poncho will fit in any of the side pockets, just the rain cover it comes with (and very tight).

      In states where it rains often one must have a cover that is attached to the bag and is just a slip-on, like the Lowepro.

        Comments about Manfrotto Pro Holster Plus 50:

        I was hunting for a holster that can fit D800E+70-200 lens. There were options for it from Lowepro and Thinktank. But none were satisfactory, as they don't take an additional flash or a small lens with it - to make it really usable. One fine day, when I checked again - Manfrotto bags came up. B&H video review gave a good description. Thought it is worth a try. No mistake, it does fit in D800E+battery grip with a 70-200 (w/o lens hood). In addition, it can take a flash (easily) and a 24-70 (now its congested). Side pockets are normal, nothing fancy. Rain cover is a useful addition, but it is easy to miss it on travel as it is not attached to bag. Construction is on par with Lowepro bags. I am mostly planning to use it for day trips, where I know what lens to take with me.

              Comments about Manfrotto Pro Holster Plus 50:

              I looked at a lot of bags for my Nikon D3 Camera.
              Next to size quality was my prime consideration.This bag has both. I don't mean to sound vain, but I spent a lot of money on my camera and a lot of my clothes.I don't want to look bad because my camera bag is inferior.This bag has both.My only problem with it it is huge.Of course that is what I need.I carry two lenses and my camera now. That gives me the versitility I want.I think I could have paid twice as much for a holster and not gotten half the quality this bag has.Little things like a metal holder for the strap. I have seen a lot with plastic. The padding is exceptional. The quality of the exterior fabric is excellent.Most importantly I can get to my camera easily.I drive my wife crazy with all the pictures I take. So it is imperative I get to the camera and shoot fast.Like everything else Manfrotto makes this bag is of the highest quality.
