The small black water-repellent Advanced Tri Backpack S from Manfrotto holds a DSLR with an attached lens, two additional lenses, and a flash between rigid touch-fastened interior dividers. Interchangeable shoulder straps on the Tri Backpack allow it to be carried in three different ways; a right or left-handed sling, a dual shoulder harness, or in an "X" position. The backpack features a reversible quick-access panel to the main compartment, which allows you to reach your DSLR at your front when wearing the backpack as a sling. Additionally, there is a spacious top compartment for extra accessories, and a variety of interior and exterior pockets.

The Advanced Tri Backpack features a front tripod attachment. To secure your tripod, there are two included quick-release belts. One belt hooks through the two loops at the base of the backpack and then secures to the tripod's legs. Another belt secures the top of your tripod to the loop at the top front of the backpack. For extra protection from inclement weather, a detachable rain cover is included. The backpack can be carried by the padded grip handle at the top or transported like luggage, thanks to the nylon-webbed trolley strap at the back.

Comments about Manfrotto Advanced Tri Backpack S (Small):

I have finally found a small day backpack that can also carry a full sized tripod. I have gone through many bags in the past but I have really enjoyed this one. Perfect bag for a mirroless set up or a smaller DSLR. Minimal gear with plenty of room for other things up top. You can also collapse the top compartment and remove the dividers, making it a regular backpack for daily use. Overall, great quality bag that gets the job done.

Comments about Manfrotto Advanced Tri Backpack S (Small):

I have just got into the world of M4/3 prior to that I had a Nikon D7000 which I absolutely miss but don't miss the bulkiness.Bought myself a little Panny GX7 and just cannot put this little gem down. My gear consists of 12-35 f2.8, 45-200 f4-5.6, FL360 Flash, batteries and various filters.I was looking for a small backpack that would fit all this gear plus a compact tripod, all the ones I was looking at from Lowepro etc were just a little too big or was not my style. Whats the point of having a CSC when you have a massive bag? And just a month or so ago came along this Manfrotto new release bag and boy am I a happy camper! I couldn't wait to get my hands on this so I ordered it here and was delivered within a week to Sydney. It was better than I thought, build quality and features of this bag are hard to beat especially for the price. Zippers have a nice feel as they are curved & branding is all over the bag. It fits my gear just right and has room for another lens that I will getting soon (25mm f1.4) Padding is more than adequate and is fully modular. Can also be converted into a sling and you can be left or right 'shouldered', just tuck away the strap you don't need! Unlike most slings they are usually one sided which I hate. For rainy days it comes with a nice cover and for your compact tripod it has extra straps. Manfrotto truly thought about this one and definitely appeals to M4/3 users (IMO) as I cannot see much DSLR gear fitting into this even though they say it will. I have included a few snaps so you can see my setup and packing into it.Good luck in your quest cheers!

Comments about Manfrotto Advanced Tri Backpack S (Small):

This is my new hiking bag, as I don't like to carry a lot of gear on long/technical ridges. The ability to change the strap configuration is really helpful for when I'm doing different difficulties of hikes/climbs and the pockets make it very easy to access filters, batteries and other quick-change items. The side openings allow you to configure for either left or right-hand opening and does make for easy access to the camera if not the extra lenses. I had a little trouble setting up the internal foam dividers for right-handed usage because of where the hook velcro tabs were, but have managed a workable compromise that I like.
The only down side is that I nearly had to return the bag and go one size larger. I use a 6D with a 24-105 lens that had UV and polarizing filters on it - that was too long to fit across the bag and I had to drop off one of the filters to make it fit. I don't particularly care for changing filters on hikes, but to me it is worth it to have this sturdy bag. The upper compartment doesn't hold a large water bottle, but it will accept your wallet, phone, SD cards and car keys easily. Basically, if you don't want to carry a computer/tablet, don' t need a lot of gear and don't have a very large lens, this is a great compact bag that is well made for outdoor activities. If you need more space, I'm sure the medium and large sizes are just as well-built!
