It will also accommodate a 15" laptop behind a divider in the top compartment. Interchangeable shoulder straps on the Tri Backpack allow it to be carried in three different ways; a right or left-handed sling, a dual shoulder harness, or in an "X" position. The backpack features a reversible quick-access panel to the main compartment, which allows you to reach your DSLR at your front when wearing the backpack as a sling. Additionally, there is a spacious top compartment for extra accessories, and a variety of interior and exterior pockets.

The Advanced Tri Backpack features a front tripod attachment. To secure your tripod, there are two included quick-release belts. One belt hooks through the two loops at the base of the backpack and then secures to the tripod's legs. Another belt secures the top of your tripod to the loop at the top front of the backpack. For extra protection from inclement weather, a detachable rain cover is included. The backpack can be carried by the padded grip handle at the top or transported like luggage, thanks to the nylon-webbed trolley strap at the back.

Comments about Manfrotto Advanced Tri Backpack L (Large):

I travel a lot and this bag is awesome for trekking the woods, beaches, or as carry-on luggage, I love the discreet branding because it doesn't scream Hey everyone! I have 12 grand on my back!! It's versatile and comfortable to wear and durable. Mine it has made many trips and handles excess of 30Lb without complaint.. I usually can fit my gear includes: canon 70-200mm f/2.8L, 24-70mm f4L, 50mm f/1.8, Rokinon 14mm, Lee filter kit, flash triggers, wireless shutter remote, and Canon 7D. There's still room for 15in computer and Wacom tablet along with hard drives cables and chargers.

I use this mainly when I am doing street photography or travel. Very good quality with lots of room for 1 camera and 4 lens. I have a 5dmkii with grip and 35mm, 50mm, 85mm and 135mm all L glass and it fits just fine. I also carry my ipad and MacBook pro 15.4 (I believe it will fit a 17) I recommend this bag.

Amazing capacity, well designed, great quality. Perfect carry-on for upcoming trip to China and later photo treks. I put lenses, filters and flash in large lower area and camera + zoom lens in top compartment with easy access. Zipper pulls do not have eyelets for locks, but can slip small TSA type lock thru zipper pulls. Well padded straps.

When doing landscape photography this bag is a must have! I can't believe what all this thing carries... I have my 5D Mark II, 70-200mm, 16-35mm, 24-105mm, 50mm lenses, extra batteries, filters, chargers, collapsible reflectors, Macbook Air & more!! Oh and I can't forget that they even found room for my Manfrotto (MAMT055XPRO3) tripod. The build quality is top-notch and the customization is endless. The only problem I have is I wish I would of bought it sooner.

This product is great overall. It holds everything that I need for my video gear. It is strong and durable but heavy. It weighs a lot and this is because of the amount of padding it has to protect your lenses, DSLR, and your laptop. Great product overall.

Recently got this to be able to carry my equipment more comfortably and was mind blown. I can fit from a 70D with grip and 4 lenses, with lots of space left of course, to a c100 and my rig. I seriously love it, and it can change to fit your shooting style, whether it's video or still, or both like in my case.

Heading to Alaska and wanted a pack for a warm layer, rain jacket, iPad, Kindle, snacks, Olympus OMD E-M10, 12-40 f/2.8 and 17 f/1.8 and 45-150 f/4-5.6 lenses. This bag will handle all items. The lower camera section would easily handle more/larger equipment, but I needed a large enough top section for my other items. Well made, too.

Comments about Manfrotto Advanced Tri Backpack L (Large):

I have a few different bags, but required something to carry my kit across the globe. I travel a few times a year, either within the US or to Europe and Australasia. Up until recently, I used a shoulder camera bag atop a rolling bag for moving my gear around.

This bag enables me to carry my Nikon D7000 with power pack, Sigma 70-200 F2.8 HSM, Sigma 17-55 F2.8, Sigma 10-20, Rokinon 8mm Fisheye and Nikon SB-700 flash unit. I can also put in either my iPad or Laptop, passport folder, Bose headphones (in case), batteries, cards and filters. It's also very easy to attach my travel tripod to the outside of the bag.

It gets heavy, but it's manageable. Fits easily into the overhead bins of aircraft or under the seat if the need arises, and is somewhat low profile and doesn't scream "Expensive stuff in here!".

Straps are great and easy to change around so you can reconfigure the backpack into a sling bag. I've found it comfortable for long hikes in both country and urban environments.

                    Highly recommended.

Purchased the bag specifically for trip to Disney World with my grandson's high school marching band. Bag allowed me carry miscellaneous items, such as wallet, maps, light jacket, my travel mug and a water bottle, etc in the top compartment. The equipment I brought included my 80-200, 1.4 teleconverter, D700 with 24-85 attached and a 70-300 and my ball head. During the day I would carry the D700 with the 24-85 and put the 70-300 in the top compartment for easy access to change lenses. The access from the side was very handy when I needed to put the camera away for rides. In the lower light of the evening I could attach the 80-200 for a little faster lens. The tripod straps worked well but I ended up putting the tripod in a locker during the day to avoid knocking kids in the head. For the travel down I also put my laptop in the bag but kept it locked up during the day in the hotel while at the parks. Bag with camera gear and laptop was heavy but with just the gear for a day's shooting it was very manageable. My next test is using the bag for the MLB opening day parade in Cincinnati.

Overall a very good bag. One suggestion would be to have a way to attache a pocket on the outside for water bottle or my travel mug.

Will be backpacking in Cuzco shortly. Perfect size. Large enough to accommodate my Canon 5D Mark II, 100-400 lens attached to the camera, a 100 macro and a 28-135 lens, along with a lot of miscellaneous stuff including laptop. My down jacket fits easily in the top compartment. Will be attaching a sleeping bag with straps.
Hands down the best bag I've ever had.

I needed a bag for a recent trip that would be able to carry my laptop and camera gear and this bag was recommended by a friend. It fit well in the overhead on the plane. Very comfortable to wear traveling through the airports and while hiking, did not need a waist strap If adjusted properly. Great bag at a great price point.

It is so much better then my last bag. I like the way the straps tuck I pockets on hie bag keeping the straps neat instead of flopping around the ground and on airplanes.

I like the quick access panel but when you want to open it all the way the flap does not stay open. Will work well for single lens use but not when I want to swap out multiple lenses. Good storage and I like the room for a laptop and tripod holder.

Well made, good paddings all around, lots of room with customizable arrangements, and light weight (when empty). It can fit 3 DSLR's all with lenses attached, an extender, a flash, and all chargers plus a laptop - a 1Ds3 body with 70-200f2.8 in main compartment plus another body with a wide angle L lens, a 3rd body with 100-400 in top compartment. Such arrangement is extreme but it shows how much you can really cram in it. When fully loaded, it's a one heavy bag! Shoulder straps are also padded, comfortable and secure. Rain coat should come handy when needed.
