This remote is a good size and works well for home theater system. Too bad it has been discontinued.

The Harmony Touch is the perfect remote control for me. It has great looks and feel. The programming has been made even easier over previous models. One touch function is a blessing with multiple devices now a days.

I replaced my (still working) Harmony One remote to bring my PS4 into my theater room. I was impressed at how easy it was to transfer my data from the Harmony One to the Touch remote. My wife truly appreciates the one-touch remote to operate all my electronics. I would buy it again!

Love the remote. Unfortunately what was shipped was a European model with Europe power adapters. Still trying to resolve.

Comments about Harmony/Logitech Harmony Touch Universal Remote:

When this first came out, I was ready to jump on it but held off due to the price. When I saw the price drop recently with free overnight shipping by B & H, I pulled the trigger. I use it in a home theater set up controlling an HDTV, DVR/cable box, Denon AVR, and PS3 (with adapter).

The Touch is replacing a Harmony 650 that has been excellent for years. I got tired of scrolling through favorite channels and wanted to try the Touch's 50 programmable favorite channel icons via the touch screen. This part is working out very well. After some initial issues setting up the new software, transferring my settings was easy.

The remote is taking a lot of adjusting to and I'm still on the fence at times about keeping it. As some other reviewers have noted, it's not that great ergonomically. It's designed with the touch screen as the main area (for your thumb). Using any keys below the exit/menu keys or above the touch screen requires you to shift your hand uncomfortably up/down the remote. With the 650 your thumb was comfortably near the volume and channel buttons and shifting wasn't that bad as it's a longer remote. I didn't feel like it was going to fall out of my hands as I do with the Touch. To use the top buttons (FF, play, stop, etc) isn't as bad if you turn your palm down and reach with your index finger.

I'm learning to not scroll as much and just use the touch screen icons but this requires me to actually look at the screen where as with the 650 I did a lot by feel. As with my 650 I programmed the red button to bring up my favorite TV channels. On the touch the red button is way at the bottom and very uncomfortable/awkward to reach with my thumb.

There are swipe gestures/options for volume up/down and fast forward/rewind for DVR watching but the volume is clunky and sensitive (if you swipe too far or hold it too long the volume gets pretty loud really fast). Plus to get to these gestures, you have to swipe up first...not a huge deal.

Overall, it's a good remote that will hopefully become a great one if I ever get used to it. I would suggest getting your hands on one first before purchasing. And if it's your first time setting it up, it will take you a while to get all the functions right. At least the web interface is better and faster than the old one.
