  • Versatile Monitoring
  • Easy to Use
  • Effortless Installation

The D-Link DNR-202L mydlink Camera Video Recorder supports up to 4 mydlink-enabled cameras, which record footage in MJPEG, MPEG4, or H.264 formats. This NVR (Network Video Recorder) allows you to attach up to two USB hard drives, and can directly record footage from these cameras and store it in the hard drives without the need of a dedicated PC.

This NVR supports the D-Link Cloud Service (free download from the D-Link website). Using this app, you can remotely view live video or play recorded video using a Web browser from any Internet-connected computer, iPhones, iPad, or Android device anytime and anywhere. With the mydlink View - NVR app for iOS and Android devices, you can quickly and easily see your camera feed from anywhere with a Wi-Fi, 3G, or 4G connection.

The NVR offers users a variety of options for viewing and organizing camera footage on-screen. Camera names and recording statuses are clearly displayed for easy reference. Moreover, multi-camera/full screen live viewing and smooth pan/tilt and zoom functionalities let you monitor the concerned areas from the connected cameras.

With this NVR, you can easily create a complete monitoring system for your home or small business. Simply run the setup wizard, assign your NVR to your mydlink account or if you are a first time user, set one up, and you are ready to go. The NVR will even automatically discover your mydlink-enabled cameras in your network. It utilizes the existing IP infrastructure and makes storage flexible with your own USB drives.

The DNR-202L NVR features a clear and simple interface for straightforward configuration, including compression, resolution, and frame rate for all the connected cameras. Once the cameras have been set up, footage can be recorded continuously with the automatic overwrite function or according to a user-defined schedule. The NVR also allows for event recording based on specific triggers such as when motion is detected.

Note! Hard drive(s) is not included. An external USB drive is required to record videos and must be formatted before use. Versatile monitoring is possible with only PTZ cameras.

Comments about D-Link DNR-202L mydlink Camera Video Recorder:

Good enough for making home surveillance.
Previously had one camera, worked with myDlink service.
Now hooked three cameras, but the downside is DNR periodically drops connections to cameras.

Comments about D-Link DNR-202L mydlink Camera Video Recorder:

Setup was very easy, found all my cameras. Found my USB hard drive and formatted it, no problems. However viewing the video stream through JAVA plugins or DirectX really detracts from it. You just have to jump through hoops to get it to work so you can at least see it. If you log in directly to the device on your local network and try to view video, forget it.. Java or DirectX didn't work for me.. In internet explorer, firefox or Chrome.. OSX and Windows.. I am hoping a firmware update fixes these issues.

Documentation is lacking, search and download full PDF with complete instructions.

Camera sensitivity needed to be turned down to stop triggering on artifacts in the frame on motion detection, 79% works for me and no false triggers anymore...

          Emailing alerts work as described.

Viewing through mobile (iphone) was a breeze, playback through mobile was easy and responsive. Is this a good device, yes, does it have issues, yes but if you are patient it serves it's purpose well. Removing a couple stars for lack of documentation and video viewing problems through browsers either through mydlink website or direct to the camera IP on local network..

Definately download the full PDF instructions and Setup to get the most out of this product.
