The Paralinx Arrow is a 300 ft line-of-sight, wireless RF Tx / Rx set for sending uncompressed, 1080p60, 4:2:2, 10-bit video, with audio, with a delay less than 2ms, from your camera to preview monitors. Both RGB and YCbCr are supported. Both in and out are HDMI, and both units work plug-and-play. Arrow supports Decimator 2 and HyperDeck Shuttle HDMI-to-SDI converters. One Arrow transmitter supports only one receiver, but up to six transmitter / receiver pairs can be used at the same time in the same area.

Distances up to 330 ft have been recorded; non-line-of-sight reaches 150 ft. The receiver is about the size of a deck of cards, and the transmitter is half that and camera-mountable using an optional Paralinx Shield. The frequencies used are 5.1 - 5.8 GHz. The antennas are built-in and omni-directional. Dynamic frequency selection automatically adjusts the frequency in case of interference from other RF systems. A specially enhanced version of the AMIMON WHDI standard is used for better wireless performance. Uncompressed monitoring allows for better detail in judging exposure.

      Comments about Paralinx Arrow:

Looked long and hard at the TeraDek Bolt, but opted for Paralinx in the end, mostly because of cost. We've used the Paralinx transmitter with the BlackMagic HyperDeck shuttle and a Canon 7d. The Paralinx setup performed flawlessly.

Great picture, great range, great price.

      Comments about Paralinx Arrow:

This is a bargain. I had used one a couple times and realized this was my inexpensive wireless solution. It's a huge step backwards using HDMI instead of HD-SDI...the connectors don't lock with HDMI, plus they're sometime fidgety finding a signal (vs how HD-SDI finds a signal right away)...but the price was right and the signal is clearer than professional solutions that cost 2.5x as much like a Modulus 5000. Then other drawback is it only comes with one P-Tap to USB. I feel like it should come with 2...one for the receiver and one for the transmitter. I only have one cube tap, but realize I actually need 2 for wireless video village, in addition to needing two p-tap to USB cables (or a V-mount plate that has 2 p-taps built in so I can charge both a little monitor and the receiver.)
