The TK51 LED Flashlight from Fenix features both a long-reaching spot light and a wide-angle flood light that work in tandem to provide 16 light combinations with an output range from 10 to 1800-lumens. By mixing spot and flood light outputs, the beam intensity and spread can be tailored to any preference or situation. This light is ideally suited as an everyday carry light for professionals, hikers and campers, or for use around the house. Two switches gives you easy control over each beam output, and a master on/off switch turns off all outputs, and when turned on again, will remember the last output selected. Press and hold the spot or flood button to instantly activate the strobe mode, even if the light is off, to scare, disorientate or temporarily blind attackers or animals. Press and hold the master on/off to instantly go to 1800-lumen turbo mode, even if the light is off.
The aluminum alloy housing is hard-anodized finished for corrosion and scratch resistance. The housing is o-ring sealed to provide it with an IPX8 waterproof rating, making it submersible to 6.6' for up to 30 minutes. It's also impact resistant to 3.3'. Safety features such as over-heat, over-discharge and reverse polarity protection ensure the light and batteries don't sustain damage during use. The output is digitally regulated to ensure constant intensity levels throughout the battery charge. To add to the light's versatility, it has the ability to run on both alkaline and rechargeable battery chemistries, and can function with a reduced number of batteries. When using less than three 18650 rechargeable, or six CR123A batteries, runtimes for the outputs will be reduced.
