The black Olympus E-PM2 Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital Camera with 14-42mm and 40-150mm Lenses Kit combines a versatile digital camera along with two zoom lenses to enable extensive coverage from wide-angle to telephoto perspectives. The sum of these components provides you with the essentials needed to begin photographing in nearly any situation.

The E-PM2 is a compact mirrorless digital camera featuring a 16.1 megapixel Micro Four Thirds size sensor and TruePic VI image processor to produce high quality still imagery and full HD 1080i video at 60 fps with notable low-light sensitivity to ISO 25600. A 3.0" 460k-dot LCD monitor is available for live view monitoring, image playback, and menu navigation, and it features a touchscreen design to provide a more intuitive means for applying camera settings. In-camera sensor-shift image stabilization is also available and helps to reduce the appearance of camera shake when working in low-light situations and with longer lenses.

The included M.Zuiko 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 II R lens provides a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 28-84mm, making it a suitable choice for us in most shooting situations. It features MSC (Movie/Still Compatible) technology to provide near-silent operation that is ideal when recording HD movies. The lens also incorporates three aspherical elements into its optical design to help minimize aberrations and distortions throughout the zoom range and to produce sharp, clear imagery. Also included is the M.Zuiko ED 40-150mm f/4-5.6 R lens, which picks up where the other lens leaves off and provides a 35mm-equivalent focal length range of 80-300mm. It, too, features MSC technology for silent and smooth operation and integrates one extra-low dispersion element into its design to deliver high image clarity through the reduction of chromatic aberration.

I am a professional videographer/Photographer, I got this camera 2 weeks ago and already filmed 2 weddings with it and I must say I am very impressed with it, the colors and the auto focus just amazing. It is like a Royce Royce engine in a little Fiat body.... I am thinking of getting another one to use on a tripod. The battery life is amazing, on my DSLR I have to use 5 batteries for a wedding for 12 hours, now I only use 2 and they recharge pretty fast. Overall this is an amazing camera, I recommend it to pros and non pros, and the price is great, with 2 lenses... Thanks B&H you are the best store....

Like my Olympus DSLR, low light photos, especially using the included flash, are hit or miss. In good light the photos are clear, and the colors are bright, but in low light, or depending upon the iAuto controls, I have missed photos. The interface is not quite intuitive, but I use Apple products, so perhaps I am spoiled. I ask a lot from my cameras, and the size and options are a nice fit in-between a full sized DSLR, and a point and shoot.

first two weeks I was getting use to my new E-pm2. all the photos were great, but my movies were really bright and overexposed looking. second week I tried indoor and still the same. finally I was able to go to Olympus website and upgrade the firmware and it solve the problem. just love it right now. great deal for me. who is just starting picture taking up from a bridge camera.
(Fuji s4250) I still use it and a canon p & s. just because I'm so use to them.

I travel a lot and take photos of beautiful sites but they have never turned out as well as they do now with the E-PM2 camera. The colors are vivid. They truly have the HD quality. The stability compensation has improved the clarity of my photos. I'm still learning what the different lenses can offer me. The camera is easy to learn and easy to transfer to your computer. ENJOY!

      Best Deal!

      By Marcus

Comments about E-PM2 Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital Camera with 14-42mm and 40-150mm Lenses Kit (Black):

I was using a Canon DSLR since 2008 and tired of carrying too much wait with battery pack, zomm 2.8 f lenses plus telephoto 300. I sold everything out and was decided to buy a Mirrorless camera. After weeks of researching a decided to buy this Olympus e-pm2 with kit lenses and it was the best deal I could have done. The camera is very well build and has a good handling. The lenses are great for their prices and the flash does its job. The battery lasts enough for a day or more of use as a tourist. I had this camera for only a couple of weeks during my trip to California and Orlando and i caught great action even surf photos came out excelent if you manage to deal with the camera in good light conditions. It's still a small camera to fit in your backpacker and very discrete to use among people in the street. It shots 8fps which I loved and the focus is so fast. I am very satisfied with this camera and happy with a light gear.

Extremely versatile, provides all the control and flexibility of my old 33mm SLR, with the benefit of many auto options. Lens are a very good quality, I've blown up 150mm (300mm equiv.) to 10X actual and the quality is amazing. Terrific value as well.

Comments about E-PM2 Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital Camera with 14-42mm and 40-150mm Lenses Kit (White):

I have been looking for a smaller camera to subliment my dsr. My canon with a zoom lenes and tripod gets heavy in the late afternoon.
With the camera stabilization and the range of the ISO, I have been getting some very nice images without a tripod with the 14-42 lens and a lot less weight to carry. I ready enjoy the multi image and the the other special effects built in such a small package. I still need a tripod when using the 40-150 lens.

Comments about E-PM2 Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital Camera with 14-42mm and 40-150mm Lenses Kit (Black):

I bought this kit when there was a promotion. I have been looking for a inexpensive lightweight camera that has good focusing speed, good low light performance, and good processing speed( meaning I can take consecutive pictures without waiting for the camera).Pros:Very good focusing, low light and processing performance. Very responsive, very good for tourists to take snapshots.- It focus fairly quick even when in low light - fast enough to capture my 4 year old daughter's smile in a restaurant.- I don't need a flashlight at night. This camera took great pictures with ISO1600 - as good as ISO100 outdoor pictures taken by my $[$]low-end point-and-shoot. - It processes picture very quickly. Even with a class 4 sdhc card, I was able to keep pressing the shutter release button, the camera never stop for processing/saving JPG pictures. (Note: this statement is not true for RAW+JPG with a class 4 sdhc)cons:- Build quality of the body and the lenses is just ok.- kit lense doesn't produce good pictures, in RAW I can see heavy distortion. - JPG pictures are so heavily processed that pictures taken out door in daylight only look slightly better than point and shoots pictures.- LCD screen is not good. All pictures look like over saturated on the screen, but when I review them on a computer I found they are actually fine.I give it 5 star, because it is a unbeatable camera kit in its price range.
