Comments about Brinno Weather-Resistant Housing for TLC200 Pro HDR Time Lapse Video Camera:

The weather resistant casing worked perfectly for three consecutive weeks on a construction site. After rain and winds, no damage was noticed on the camera itself.

        Good casing

        By J.F.

        Verified Buyer

Comments about Brinno Weather-Resistant Housing for TLC200 Pro HDR Time Lapse Video Camera:

The casing is a good quality and works great. The only two downsides are that you can't change the angle of the lens ant that the holes are to tight at the casing if you want to use screws to fix it. You also can not use the buttons to make adjustments when mounted to a wall...
I't is still the best solution I found so far and it is doing a very good job in protecting the camera.

Easy to use. My only complaint is you cannot turn the camera on or off when inside the housing. That is a minor problem though.

Comments about Brinno Weather-Resistant Housing for TLC200 Pro HDR Time Lapse Video Camera:

Others have said its cheap and flimsy... I don't agree... mine is solid. The latches look like they may break if man handled, but if properly used, no problem.
I gave four stars because to cannot adjust angle of lens, but really not a big deal.
It has four holes in the flange (two top corners and two on sides) that can be used to fit onto "register pins"... I took a lockable electrical box, cut a hole in cover for lens to point out, cut a piece of plywood to glue inside and put four finish nails to act as pins on to which case is slid so each time I move case to swap card or batteries, it goes back in exact same position.

Comments about Brinno Weather-Resistant Housing for TLC200 Pro HDR Time Lapse Video Camera:

I had the TLC200 Pro strapped to a pole inside of this case from March to December in Florida. This case survived a Florida summer...which includes intense heat, a ton of humidity, and a rediculous rain storm every. single. day. Not once did the camera ever show any signs of wear or moisture, and the case only showed slight discoloration from months in the sun. The best part about the discoloration though, is that it didn't affect the lens glass part of the case...so it never showed up in the time-lapse video!

I used for a 10 day event, and time lapsed an outdoor event build and activation. It poured down rain, windy and foggy marine layer for days! This weather protection case provided excellent protection- completely waterproof: I would suggest to take under water...not designed for that. I mounted on a tripos and also strapped onto a truss structure. Much to my surprise, no moisture or rain drops stayed near lens -- or obstructed picture. Highly recommend! Also, I store the Camera in the case for extra protection during travel. The case doesn't obstruct the wide angle lens.

Comments about Brinno Weather-Resistant Housing for TLC200 Pro HDR Time Lapse Video Camera:

takes the apprehension out of weather related shooting and protects the camera. It would be nice to offer a convertible lens protector with the ability to adapt to Brinno's pricier lenses, but that is perhaps too tricky.

Comments about Brinno Weather-Resistant Housing for TLC200 Pro HDR Time Lapse Video Camera:

This product is a must have for the TLC 200 Pro. I would not trust myself to leave the camera outside without this on.
It's a bit disappointing though. You can't tilt the lens, turn the camera on or off, or focus it will the camera is inside this housing, so the housing becomes something tedious.
It only works with the kit lens, so Brinno basically forced me away from buying any more accessories because this limits me from using them.
