Comments about Lexar 64GB CompactFlash Memory Card Professional 800x UDMA (2-Pack):

I used to carry around a Hyperdrive Space. When my cards filled up, I would dump them to the Hyperdrive (continue shooting with another set), clear them off, then start all over when the 2nd set filled up.

Now I don't have to. With 64GB at this price, I've got more than enough storage. I tested them out: each card can handle about 3,000 RAW shots (at an average of about 22-23MB per shot, YMMV). My camera has 2 slots, so I configured it to write to both cards at once--instant backup! If I do manage to take 3,000 shots in a single shoot, I can always have another pair in my pocket.

Plus it's a brand I've learned to trust.

The only CON is if you don't have the instant back up that my camera offers. You can counter that with an alternate backup though, such as my method of having a hard-drive back-up device.

Comments about Lexar 64GB CompactFlash Memory Card Professional 800x UDMA (2-Pack):

When raw photos at 22 megapixels for every shot use up a 4 GB card in just a few minutes of shooting, you need a card that will hold over 800 photos at highest resolution.

My 5D Mark iii holds and sd and a CF card. I bought the 64 CF to be able to capture an entire wedding on one card. I also purchased their 128G SD card for my back up in the camera. Excellent back up plan, just in case something happens to one card. Love this product and size.

I bought this card to use with my Canon 5D Mark II and Mark III cameras at weddings so that I would not have to change cards in the middle of the ceremony or during other important events. I wanted a card that could read quickly during picture taking and also when donwloading off the card to my computer. I used it on a 3.5 hour wedding shoot and never had to change cards. There is less chnace of losing images if you do not have to change cards. There was still plenty of room on the card at the end of the day. The card has a fast writing speed. I trust Lexar and beieve they are the best compact flash cards on the market.
