I own two Pelican 1600 cases and now have the dividers in both. The pluck and pull foam is okay but when you are adding new gear things are so much simpler with this divider set that gives you so many options for making compartments for your gear.

The shipping box was crushed which left the padded dividers okay but not the padded tray it was in. The tray was deformed. I am sure after some time, it will reshape it self but it was bad enough to where it didn't sit even in the Pelican case.

I replaced the old foam with this divider set and has made the case a lot more useful. Very sturdy and provides excellent protection.

Replaced the normal foam with these dividers and can not believe I waited so long to do so! I can fit much more gear in my 1600 now. I also like that I do not have to worry about the foam breaking down and causing loose debris in the case. Much easier to keep clean. I am a little worried that the material seems a little loose on the main interior pads, hoping it stays together long enough to get my moneys worth!

Not sure how I would fit all the odds and ends into the case without something like this to keep everything organized.

Like the mod ability of the piece. Next I will have to see it in transport action before I feel fully confident in protecting the gear over the foam.

Used in my 1600 series Pelican case for my DSLR and gear. Works a lot better than the pick & Pluck foam. The only thing is that you need two sets to properly fit my gear. One set would work OK for medium format gear.

I bought the Pelican case with the pluck out foam, thinking it would be best for protection. The problem is, my gear was changing and being added to, and it just did fit my style. Now I can change the layout to fit my needs and still feel my gear is well protected.

Solved the space and organization problem for my cameras and lenses. While the pick-and-pluck has that custom presentation, it does not wear well with time.

I bought my pelican 1600 case 'new' from a guy who never even opened the box... I have a ton of camera gear so I really needed a good strong case to store it and to travel with... Although I could have easily used the foam and pulled out the right combination for my stuff, using the divider seemed a better choice, since I am always trading or selling or buying new gear.

It functions very well and I would highly recommend this product for anyone who has camera gear.

I would like to point out however that fully packed with my 300 2.8, 24-70, 70-200 2.8, 85 1.8 and two camera bodies as well as all of my other accessories, this thing can get VERY heavy, but luckily the solid construction of this case with the dividers makes for the perfect protection.

I can now store almost double the amount of equipment in my Pelican case with this divider set. The foam blocks wasted a lot of space!
The only thing I do not like is the price...its a rather spendy addition to my already expensive case.

Fits great, has enough dividers for almost every option, stays in place once arranged. The only problem I had was with several variable width dividers. These are made from two dividers attached with an elastic strap so their width can be adjusted. However, the velcro strips on these variable dividers do not line up with each other, so you can not really subdivide a section using them.

After the stock pick n' pluck foam got way too picked n' plucked, I picked a producted to protect my precious packages from pernicious pilary.

Anyway... the divider set is fully customizable, and I've managed to fit far more in that previously in a much more fiddly-bit friendly format.

Dividers are much more efficient at organizing the space than either of the foam options. I can now fit twice as much gear (Canon 20D with attached 28-70 lens, 40D with attached 70-200 IS, 580EX flash, Sekonic 358 meter, Tokina 11-16, Tamron 17-35, Lens Baby II, Canon TS 24, and all the spare power, filters, memory and accessories I could ever need. The dividers are firm and secure and I am certain that if the case were dropped, my gear would be safe. The only drawback is that with all that gear, the case weighs a ton! It more than suits my purpose for quick, safe and secure access in the back of my Jeep.

I had a 1600 Pelican case with foam interior for years now, and I never really got the space usage I wanted from this case.

Foam is great for large and medium items such as camera/lenses/flashes/...
But for getting every pieces of equipment inside the foam arrangement its a mess. So I recently decided to go for the padded divider approach.
