Comments about MindShift Gear Ultralight Camera Cover 20 (Black):

I will be going on a trip and wanted to carry the camera in a more discreet manner in the city and stores and this allows me to do so. It is meant to be light and portable and this fits my purpose. I made adjustments so the belt will take most of the weight off of the strap around my neck. I also have Mindshift's Panorama but the fanny pack on it's own felt a little too bulky to use by itself, so I prefer to use it as it was intended as part of the pack. Some have commented that the belt it does not provide enough support, but I think it was designed as a lightweight camera cover, and I feel it accomplishes this mission. There is some light padding that provides some protection without adding bulk. Access to the camera is quick and easy.

This camera bag is an excellent addition to my Canon 5D Mark 3. It keeps the camera protected although it is still quick and easy to get to. I enjoy having the camera secured to my waist when hiking or simply walking around town. My wife purchased one for her Canon 50D and is very pleased as well. I was very impressed with the quality of materials and the construction. Great value for the price!

Comments about MindShift Gear Ultralight Camera Cover 20 (Black):

I bought both the 20 and 30 models for easy walk around with a Canon 5D III or 7D with 24-105 or 70-200 f2.8 on trips. What a great idea! They are easy to pack. They work well and keep my camera with lens secure with a Op Tech camera strap and the included waist strap. Great for rough hiking also. These are a great addition to my MindShift, ThinkTank and GuraGear stuff.

Comments about MindShift Gear Ultralight Camera Cover 20 (Black):

This is an outstanding camera cover for travel and general use. I like to have something covering my Canon 6D especially when hiking and travelling. Lightweight camera bags work okay but they have more bulk than necessary and access to your camera is not as quick as I would like. The Mind Shift camera solves these issues and it weights almost nothing. Access is instantaneous. A belt strap holds the camera in place when walking and holds is at the ready after you remove the camera. This cover fits my needs exactly.

Comments about MindShift Gear Ultralight Camera Cover 20 (Black):

I like the weight and feel of this cover, and, while it may be the best thing that I have tried for a lightweight holster-type protective cover, it still leaves something to be desired--The belt is good but I would like something that seems a bit sturdier in order to not sag so much on the camera holster side. Also, I can't say that the buckle gives me the 100% security that it will not easily slip and come unbuckled and dump my camera to the ground (as I keep my hand under the holster when I'm walking in order to protect against that eventuality). The pocket that stores the belt will likely leave others feeling as I do -- I don't think you will spend time stuffing the belt into the pocket even if planning a trip (as ultimately it saves no space). I would prefer a more useful pocket with a zipper (or Velcro) for carrying small items securely. I will likely use the pocket to store one of those $[$]package raincovers for emergencies. This "Cover 20" size is good for a DSLR w/ lens attached that is up to 105mm, but I would not suggest carrying anything longer as it could possibly allow the camera w/lens to slip out/fall even if strapped as securely as possible. Get the next larger size for DSLR w/ longer lenses.I'm still dreaming of the perfect lightweight, comfortable, skin-like camera holster(s) that are not bulky and box-like and dorky (as most if not all camera holsters are now).
