I use this card with an X-T1 for portrait and dance photography. It has 8 extra data pin/contacts that UHS-I cameras don't have and can't use, so there's no point using it in any other camera besides the X-T1 at the time of this review. But for the X-T1 it's fast. It's very, very fast. The older 95MB/Second Extreme Pro cards could usually keep up with what and how I shoot, but this card just totally eliminates the possibility of a write bottleneck in the X-T1. It does require an UHS-II compatible card reader to take advantage of the higher read speeds, but it's plenty fast for what I do with a regular card reader and it's stellar in the X-T1. A little pricey, but for the performance it's well worth it.

I've been using Sandisk Pro cards exclusively for 10 years. They have always been top performers. This new card looked like the next technological jump and I bought one (16GB) right away to try it out. While I understood that the performance (280/250) was limited to UHS-II devices, I assumed the UHS-I performance would at least match their other Extreme Pro SD cards. (it would help if they published those numbers) For example, RAW recording on the BMPCC along with super fast downloading of footage.Well, the performance in Class 1, UHS-I devices is abysmal!! Ultra cards have better read performance. I'm getting 35MB/s write and 40MB/s read.I understand this card is designed for UHS-II products, but I think Sandisk should be more forthcoming with their UHS-I performance. They clearly advertise their backward compatible support, so please share these performance numbers.I have always trusted and promoted Sandisk cards. I still do. This review is more of a warning to those hoping for great performance in their UHS-I devices. You've be better to buy Sandisk's Pro UHS-I cards, they're cheaper too!PS: remember you will also need a UHS-II card reader, for which there is only one. Luckily, B&H sells it!

Comments about SanDisk 32GB Extreme PRO SDHC UHS-II Memory Card:

I foolishly ordered this opened and tossed the packaging without fully reading up on it. There are currently only a few cameras/devices out there that can take advantage of the new UHS-II memory speeds. Sadly my camera (Sony alpha A7) does not. So I spent a lot on a card and I'm not getting the speed gains. Still works great on UHS-I device, but not at the full speeds and not worth double the price. The newer Fuji cameras will take advantage of UHS-II.

Basically make sure your device is UHS-II capable before you spend the extra dough.

I bought this instead of an UHS-1 as an investment in the future. However, for now, it won't provide much speed inprovements for my camera (Sony A77m2).

Also, I purchased a separate UHS-2 USB3 reader, and can't say is any faster that the normal SD reader built in my Apple MacBook Pro Retina (which has USB3 built in).

Comments about SanDisk 32GB Extreme PRO SDHC UHS-II Memory Card:

I bought this card for my Canon 6D. As with the other sandisk cards I have (Ultra), I am very happy, never had any problem, they are very reliable. I have not tested yet the difference in speed as it is the first time I get the Extreme Pro. It is my hope that it will speed up writing time for my long exposure night shooting...

Comments about SanDisk 32GB Extreme PRO SDHC UHS-II Memory Card:

I use this card with my Lumix GH4 4K camera. Bought this as a back up the the 64GB version of the same card. Works flawlessly, super fast and can handle 4K 100Mbs and 1080p 200Mb/s write speeds fine. The only downside is 4K footage will completely fill this card in about 40 minutes. At 1080p 200Mb/s recording you've only got about 20 minutes.

The write speed of these cards used in my Fuji X-T1 are incredible. I hardly ever have to wait for the card to finish writing before I can start shooting again. Highly recommended if your camera can take advantage of the new UHS-II specification.

Comments about SanDisk 32GB Extreme PRO SDHC UHS-II Memory Card:

I almost have to compare SanDisk cards to convey my unhappiness with this new SanDisk 32GB Extreme Pro SDHC UHS-II Memory Card I purchased last month. Compared to the buffering capabiiities of my SanDisk Extreme Pro 32GB Extreme Pro CF UDMA7 160MBs card and even my SanDisk Extreme Pro SDHC 95MBs card, purchasing the above referenced memory card was a mistake. I know it cuts off at 250 MBs for cameras, but the buffering capabilities of this particular card (using it in my Canon 5DmkIII) is absolute horrible. One can tell when it switches to the SDHC card, immediately. Perhaps, if you are only planning on using it for static photography or landscapes, it will be just fine, but if you plan on it for action photography like air shows or races, think long and hard about this one, as it will slow you down. The poor read/write capabilities of this particular card really dissapointed me. I am not trying to diss SanDisk, because their memory cards are the only ones I use.

Comments about SanDisk 32GB Extreme PRO SDHC UHS-II Memory Card:

I set my new Fuji XT-1 with the 18-55mm 2.8-4 lens to CH, pushed the shutter, and the burst was so fast it scared me and I ducked (or maybe it was my spouse's face in the viewfinder). Anyway, before the 7-frame burst was finished writing to the card, I pushed the shutter again…and it started recording again. Yikes! Now, I am used to the fast burst mode on my Canon 7d (which I have used very little--except for basketball--since adding my Fuji x mount cameras a little over a year ago), but I was not used to the fast card writing. Moreover, when I put the sd card into my regular SanDisk card writer (not the new USH II one optimized for this card), I was unable to go get my usual cup of coffee before the pics uploaded…as it was zip, zip, zip. The sd card in my Fuji XE-1 is the SanDisk Extreme something or other (95 mbs/sec), but this one blows it out of the water. Glad I bought it from B&H, who had it in stock promptly.
