Comments about Joby Flash Clamp & Locking Arm:

Several cons, is very weak to hold more than a Speedlite flash, you can't use it
to hold a medium LCD light, or a flash with a small diffuser, but if you use it for a Speedlite with a trigger without a screw it will fall, like it happened to me, with a little touch my speedlite fell down.

Comments about Joby Flash Clamp & Locking Arm:

This product is flimsy and unstable. It wouldn't even hold up my Canon 430EX speedlite. The light kept flipping down no matter what angle I set or how I tightened the screws. It also kept sliding down the light stand.

Comments about Joby Flash Clamp & Locking Arm:

I bought this clamp hoping that I can use it in place of a bulky light stand during wedding receptions. However the weight alone of my Canon 580EX II makes it very unstable even when the adjustments are fully tightened. It works great for a couple shots here and there but I don't feel confident leaving it a substantial amount of time on its own.

Comments about Joby Flash Clamp & Locking Arm:

When shooting an event like a wedding you never know what kind of architecture you are going to be working in. I try and avoid light stands as much as possible so they don't wind up in the background of my images or limit the angles I can shoot from. This bracket offers me an alternative. I plan on pickup a few more. At $[*] I wanted to first see if I liked it, and I do. I would prefer if they were a little cheaper, but they are well constructed.

It seems solid and gets very tight with no slip on the joints, well made.
