The LNC226X Wired or Wireless Day/Night Outdoor IP Bullet Camera from Lorex utilizes a 1/4" color CMOS image sensor and a 4.2mm, f/2.4, fixed-iris lens to capture 1280x800 resolution video at up to 30 fps. This model in the LNC series can transmit the feed over a wired connection via a Cat5 cable, or wirelessly using an IEEE 802.11b/g/n interface.

Multiple recording modes including scheduled, motion-detection, audio-detection, and manual let you tailor the amount of surveillance footage you record while optimizing your available memory. A built-in microphone can be used to trigger recording, or for monitoring. It supports one-way simplex audio, and can be disabled if there are privacy concerns or to save memory.

The included L-View video management software lets you determine the saving route for files, and supports simultaneous recording to the local memory, and remote locations such as a computer, NAS, and mobile device. This simultaneous recording capability to multiple locations can ensure that your footage is instantly backed up. Footage is saved locally to a MicroSD card up to 32GB.

Comments about Lorex LNC226X Wired or Wireless Day/Night Outdoor IP Bullet Camera:

This new camera from Lorex has a lot of great features. I ordered 3 of these. After three frustrating days trying to set up the first camera and numerous calls to tech support, it was determined by Lorex to be defective. The second and third cameras were somewhat better but still did not provide the product described in the specs. They could not pick up a signal from a new and powerful router at a distance of more than 20 feet. (note that no other equipment using this router has any problems with its range). In my calls to Lorex, not one tech was familiar with this new camera. Many did not even know it existed. The only tech that was at all helpful was to research the camera and get back to me with additional tech. support to get the two remaining cameras running properly. I never received a return call. Unfortunately, I had to give up and take advantage of B & H great return policy. If Lorex can ever get the bugs out and educate their techs on this camera, it could be a good option.
