Comments about Onkyo TX-NR636 7.2-Channel Network AV Receiver:

It is used as a primary receiver and replaced my Onkyo 520 receiver that was 8 years old. Primarily upgraded to get HDMI integration. I have conected my SAT receiver, xbox, security DVR, HTPC, and DVD to the receiver.

They all work great without much out of the box configuration. The AccuEQ is kind of nice. It did adequate tuning. Was able to connect to the network without issues. Have not yet tried the soft functions on the receiver.

The volume levels seem a little soft. I have to raise it to 40 before is is decent in my family room. My old system would be pretty goos at around 27 - 30.

Still trying out the various functions / features on the box. Just on features alone I will recommend it to any one looking for the upgrade or if you need the 7 HDMI inputs and all work well together.
