Comments about Little Brown Book: Ansel Adams - The Negative: Book 2:

Learning from the master of landscapes and developing film this book has a lot to offer even in our digital age. The Zone method and visualization are detailed and there is much other information that can be applied to the digital era. Yes some things in the book are only applicable to film but all photographers will learn something from a read of this book.

Comments about Little Brown Book: Ansel Adams - The Negative: Book 2:

I picked this up to get a better understanding of correct exposure and technically accurate photography. It has helped me with that and more. This is a holistic approach that takes into account aesthetics as well as the technical/scientific aspects. This information is presented clearly and in a methodical manner. Ansel Adams beautiful photographs illustrate the points well and are worth the price alone.
