I use this film for shooting artistic and scenic black and white shots, and it never fails to get an excellent balance of contrast and depth of field. Good speed, good tonal balance, and a great variety of shades are represented almost every time. I have used Kodak in the past, but always have to use darkroom filtering to get the image I desire. I really have no complaints about Ilford.

So far, so good
I'm still getting used to it, and ny first couple of rolls were a bit thin, but I think I can adjust my exposures

Comments about Ilford Delta-100 Professional 135-36 Black & White Print Film (ISO-100):
This film is used primarily for random multi exposures. I think of this as a blank canvas so there will be areas of under exposure over exposure and just right. When used in a very controlled setting the neg density is excellent with good tonal range and it is inexpensive.

Comments about Ilford Delta-100 Professional 135-36 Black & White Print Film (ISO-100):
Ilford Delta 100 is now my go-to film. The grain is spectacularly fine, the contrast feels clean, and the tonal range is wide and warm. The only con is with tracking. They images begin so high on the roll that -- if you develop it yourself -- it's easy to accidentally cut off half or a whole image. It's not terrible, but just be conscious of that when you're putting it on the reel. In any case, it has both extremely fine grain AND warm dimension -- something that was difficult to achieve with the Pan F Plus (50 ISO) that I'd originally purchased but then exchanged for the Delta 100. And I'm so glad I did!

I use this film right now with a Mayima C33, also use the 35 mm film. It's great for bright light, high contrasty pictures. It also one of the easiest films to spool for tank development.

For B&W I still prefer film to digital, and when the light is there, I generally go with Delta 100. It is consistant, the blacks are BLACK, but there are lots of grays, too, from dove to blue.
