Nice but a bit pricey
I use this in conjunction with the tripod level when shooting panoramas. It works well and I like the curved edges which make it a bit easier to see the bubbles at various angles. ...Read complete review
I use this in conjunction with the tripod level when shooting panoramas. It works well and I like the curved edges which make it a bit easier to see the bubbles at various angles. It fits a little loose in the Canon T2i. Also, it would be nice if the manufacturer included some sort of small carrying case/cinch bag for storing it. [$] for a spirit bubble level seems a bit pricey although this one is not the most expensive choice.

This level does its job perfectly...which is to show you a little bubble. The only complaint I have is it felt like if I walked anywhere with it in the shoe mount accidentally, it would fall out. Great for the price though.

I've been using this level when my camera is on tripod as this particular tripod does not have one. It is very lightweight and easy to transport and slips on the hotshoe easily.

I know, your new camera and/or tripod has a built in level. However, for those older cameras and tripods, this is just the ticket. I love the quality and the rounded edges. Yes it is expensive, but I would rather pay the money for something well built. I appreciate well built things and this one fits that category.

It does work well, but most tripods have their own level built in as mine does. I thought it would provide an easier method for getting the camera level, but it is more difficult to achieve level than just using the tripod level.

This is a fine tool for tripod-mounted landscapes. Like others, I appreciate the rounded corners and carrying it in an old 35mm film cannister. It makes no sense that the piece costs this much, but the competition does, too.

Great accessory - perfect for leveling your camera on a tripod.
slides securely into hot shoe. Some mentioned being loose. Seems to depend on the camera. Fits a little loose on my Canon, but is more snug on my Nikon. Not loose enough to fall off of either one.
Easy to read, and seems plenty accurate.
No real down side that I found.
