This is very strong and folds down easily with the bungee cord holding the pieces together. Great frame and use it with white/silver reflector and a translucent panel. It's great but pricey for some pieces a aluminum and plastic..

Comments about Photoflex 37 x 72" Aluminum Lite Panel Frame:
Love the frame - sturdy, light, very easy to assemble. I highly recommend opting for the additional cross bar.
As compared to the PVC LitePanel frame, the aluminum is worth every penny. I do a lot of outdoor sessions, expecially during the hot Virginia summers. The PVC tends to bend and become flexible. Aluminum is well worth the upgrade.

Comments about Photoflex 37 x 72" Aluminum Lite Panel Frame:
I use the reflector mainly for outdoor model shoots. It's easy and quick to assemble. It's very well built and sturdy. It is a large suface, so use commom sense if it is windy instead of blaming the product. The stand works great for positioning the reflector for indoor or on very calm days.

Comments about Photoflex 37 x 72" Aluminum Lite Panel Frame:
This is the second 39"x72" Aluminum Frame Panel Reflector that I've purchased. The first is still going strong, I just needed another.
I love these panel reflectors.
The frame is sturdy and does not flex, bend or change shape.
The elastic cord running through the frame joints makes setting it up a snap. And it breaks down and folds for storage just as easily.
The interchangeable reflector fabrics are great quality, fit snugly and stay in place.
In my opinion, this size panel reflector needs a cross-bar, which is not part of the standard offering. I purchased the optional cross-bar with both my panels and I recommend it unless you plan to use this in the most gentle way.
Also, I purchased the optional Panel Leg sets to stand the panels upright. I use weight bags on the legs for stability. I like the legs but they don't set up as easily as the panel frames do, as they have to be tightened with thumb-screws.
These are great for full length reflector needs or even a quick, even backdrop (if it doesn't need to be very wide... e.g. just a head-shot).
Happy shooting...

One of the most useful pieces of equipment I've bought. I can shoot any time regardless of time. I live in california and it very sunny. This gives me shade in just the right areas.
Comments about Photoflex 37 x 72" Aluminum Lite Panel Frame:
I have three of these, as well as one of the 77x77" variety. They are light yet strong, and they fold down for easy transport. (I use velcro wraps to keep them from unfolding.)
On a recent shoot for a group portrait, I mounted one horizontally to a light stand, and, using the translucent fabric, I shot the flash through it for a nice soft light. I then used another with the opaque white material as a reflector.
The only detractor I can think of is that they can be a little unwieldy during assembly/disassembly. But, with a little practice, that's not much of an issue.

Comments about Photoflex 37 x 72" Aluminum Lite Panel Frame:
I owned the PVC version of this frame and was using it with a silk to diffuse harsh sunlight when suddenly a gust of wind blew in and folded the plastic frame in half! The force of the wind cracked the PVC and the tubes were badly split. This would not have happened with the aluminum frame.
Buy aluminum frames for outdoor use and save the PVC for use indoors.
