Comments about Print File Premium Series-G Archival Album for G-Series Pages (Black):

Full-frame enlargements from 35mm negatives measure 8x12 rather than 8x10, so you'll need some Print File G-series 8x12 photo pages and this oversized album to keep them in. The material isn't the world, but it looks to be extremely durable and should protect the contents really well. The ring holder is the same as any three-ring binder, so any standard 3-ring photo pages can be used as well. A color other than black would be good, so you would have the option of writing a label on it with a Sharpie.

Comments about Print File Premium Series-G Archival Album for G-Series Pages (Black):

I probably should have read the specifications and checked the manufacturer's website regarding this product. I thought it was going to be a hard binder/album, but it uses a flexible plastic for the actual album/binder and not hardboard.

Anyway, I ended up ordering the other Series-G album made by PrintFile (B&H Catalog item code: PRAPG) which appears to be a hard album/binder.

I wanted a hard binder for carrying around. This particular binder/album is best used for shelf use/storage.

Comments about Print File Premium Series-G Archival Album for G-Series Pages (Black):

I needed a better way to keep my 8x12 and 8x10 prints ready at hand. So 8x12 works well. I purchased G-series pages as well.

The album sides are firm. Not floppy. Not slippy. And D-rings are my preferred type.

It has a 2-1/4" spine. Sometime I think that's too big. Sometimes I think it makes it easier to turn the pages. Depends on the phases of the moon I guess.

Comments about Print File Premium Series-G Archival Album for G-Series Pages (Black):

I was actually going to buy a 3-ring binder from an office supply store and print my images in 8.5 x 11 format, even though I wasn't thrilled about that idea. Then I found this. The perfect simple photographic image display solution! Keeps the standard 35mm format so you don't have to crop and is specifically designed for prints. The pages from this company are a perfect fit inside the binder. A simple, yet professional way to display and carry good size prints.

Comments about Print File Premium Series-G Archival Album for G-Series Pages (Black):

They are the perfect fit and look quite handsome for my 8x12 photos. They are sturdy and easy to use. I'm glad to have finally found albums to archive and show off my uncropped photos (this size is quite hard to find!). I only wish they also came with a UV proof box to house them (either slide them into or cover them completely) as I'm concerned about future light damage to my photos. In the meantime I'm using a UV protective cloth to cover my albums when I'm not using them. Otherwise, a great find and I'm quite satisfied. Thanks B & H!
