Comments about Ilford Multigrade IV Fiber Based, Variable Contrast Black and White Paper (42" x 98', Matte, 42" x 98' Roll):
Gives opportunity to cut to any size I use, especially special larger sizes. Downside is how tightly rolled it is and how difficult it is to flatten out. Great quality paper.
Comments about Ilford Multigrade IV Fiber Based, Variable Contrast Black and White Paper (42" x 98', Matte, 42" x 98' Roll):
Great Paper, ease of use getting out. Paper seems whitest if using cold water between baths. Wash in perma-wash or other Hypo. Difficult to tone evenly.
Problems Encountered: Watercolour tape doesn't hold it down flat when drying: multiple stapling required on a somewhat flexible board, like soundboard.
Previous Equivalent Items Owned: The gloss this size
Items I Recommend: 4' by 5 tube for processing, deer netting to separate paper from itself
