The Diopter adjustment works great! Slid right into place with no effort. It will be nice to photograph again without wearing glasses and dealing with them fogging up on the humid days this summer!!

Comments about Canon +2 Diopter E:
The idea I had was to extend the usage life of the Canon EOS 1D Mark IIn dinosaurs I'm using for work. When I put it on the camera, it was fantastic. There is no distortion, it's very clear, and with the rubber bumper, it's perfect. However, upon taking the camera off of my shoulder, it fell off by catching my belt and pulling free and falling to the ground. It hit my leg though and I noticed it. I put it back on the camera, and the next time I used the camera and took it off my shoulder, the same thing happened. I knew that if I didn't do something to modify it soon, it would be lost forever. I was able to simply take a small zip tie, wrap it around the eye piece, and secure it. It's ugly, but the function of the diopter is in full swing, and it won't be lost. Too bad this design is so bad.
I don't think the design of this diopter is the problem though. I think it's the design of the camera because any diopter would have the same issue. If you can figure out a way to get the diopter to stay on the camera, then you will be very happy with it. I am because I was at the limit of the adjustment on the camera.

If you wear glasses, you need a diopter! It is much easier to frame your shots without your glasses on.

Comments about Canon +2 Diopter E:
I wear glasses as hate trying to shoot with my progressive lens glasses as everytime you place your eye in the finder you are not certain if you are in the same area of the progressive lens. That erodes focus confidence for me. So since my adjustment exceeded the available diopter adjustment on camera I ordered these lenses +2 for each of my cameras. [...]. They work great [...]. Now I just shoot normally and put glasses on when viewing the details. The diopter lenses are excellent and the service was great as well.
