Another great product from Lineco. I used this to 'T mount' a couple dozen photos for a show. The tape was actually wider than I needed for this application, so I was able to cut each piece in half longways and get more out of it. The only tough part is peeling off the backing, but a little patience goes a long way. It's not big deal really. Once peeled, the tape was easy to work with and the final seal was very strong with no air bubbles.

We use this tape for two separate uses. We had a thin soft covered kids book that literally got read to pieces. We used the linen tape to bind individual pages to the binding as well as as reinforcing the spine.
We also used the tape to mount pictures to the the back side of picture frame mats. In both cases, the tape worked and handled the way we wanted it to. It provides great flexibility while still giving secure sticking power.

I use this tape to hinge mats and backer board together and also to T-mount photos to the backer. It is a vast improvement over the linen "first aid" tape I had been using and is worth every penny.

It's a little clumsy at first trying to get the tape to dispense correctly but that soon is not a problem with a little practice.

From now on, I won't use anything else.

Did what its supposed to do. Feels of good quality and archival. I like using this better than water based adhesive, which can warp the photo over time.

I used this tape to hinge extra paper in my fashion design portfolio. I used it on bristol paper and it was very easy and sticks well.

this product is easy to use. I had a large mounted print that didn't hold with photo tape, I fixed it with this product. I also started a new matted and framed print with it as well. Unfortunately the frame fell off the wall and the tape broke during the impact, which is understandable, I just had to re-tape and reposition it after the fall.

Worked just as described, but photo is still not 100% flat. This is not a reflection on the tape, but more likely a comment on my technique and other materials used. The tape is great.

I am taking a college course and we have just gotten into matting our own prints. This is my first time doing this.

The class provided linen mounting tape but, I found it to be messy and a hassle. This is really easy to use and to apply.

However, I have a hard time removing the side that reveals the adhesive.

Other than that, definitely a good product.

I am not that experienced in matting prints. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this is to use. The backing of the tape comes off easily and it has just the right amount of stickiness to apply to the print and then to the mat. And it easy is to be removed and reapplied to the backing board when I want to reposition the print on the backing board, during the initial mounting session. No mess, no fuss, no muss, and archival.

My preferred tool for matting images is the self adhesive linen tape over acid free, paper photo corners. Holds up well in hot, humid weather as well as cold.

It didn't take very long to ship and ended up working perfectly for matting. Some of the time I would mess up in the placement of the matte and the tape came off without ripping the top layer off the matte board then stuck firmly back down in the new spot. Overall, it's a great product and I'd recommend it for ANYONE to use.

I use this for taping my mats. The self-adhesive is MUCH easier to use than trying to use the wet it yourself backing. The box dispenser works well also. Highly recommended.

Used correctly this is an excellent picture and matt mounting tape. Does not dry or turn brittle with age. Applied to the unfinished side as with proper "T" hinges its perfect. Applied incorrectly to the finished side it will hold forever, but if you need to make a change, light damage and marring is a good possibility. Great for full length Matt hinges.

This is my second box of the same stuff. I started using it for its intended purpose of hinging book pages. Then I discovered it's even BETTER for sealing the backs of framed pictures. Quick, easy to use, and perfect for the task. I've even had the opportunity to re-visit hanged pictures of several years ago where I used the stuff compared to the same vintage use of everything from masking tape to surgical tape. Nothing, NOTHING, beats Lineco Linen Tape for this use. Pass it on !!!!

I go through lots of this tape doing archival matting of photographs. This is far superior to the kind that one must wet first and then apply. This is simple, clean and easy to use. No sticky residue or mess. It makes the process of mounting and matting photographs really simple.
