It's hard to believe that such small, unobtrusive microphones can produce such great sound, but it's true. Available in black or white finishes, and with in line or plate mount preamps, the Microflex Overhead condenser microphones capture Shure quality sound in a compact, adjustable package. Each model features one of the three interchangeable condenser microphone cartridges attached to a flexible, four inch gooseneck with a 30 foot cable.
The preamp options available offer easy installation in ceilings or microphone stands, and when combined with the high sensitivity cartridge's wide frequency response, these microphones provide accurate sound reproduction with a minimum of RF interference or electromagnetic hum. The new Microflex Overheads feature interchangeable cardioid, supercardioid and omnidirectional condenser cartridges that fit every model in the Microflex product line for enhanced convenience and consistent sound.

Comments about Shure MX202W/C - Mic with Stand Adapter:
Our church wanted to add a mike for the choir and piano, and asked me to do it. I searched the Shure site, found this mike and bought it from B&H. I came up with a "contraption" to hang it from the celing in the right spot. It works great - does the job prefectly. People at church think I am a genius - not so, I just have to be smart enough to go to Shure and B&H.

I bought these to replace two olders ones (12+ years - one starting to give me a problem). I set them up and turned on the system and immediately notice AM radio coming through my system. Plugged the old ones in and no problem. Called Shure customer support and they were VERY helpful. Answered on the first ring with a live person that was able to help me. They shipped out two attunuators that corrected the problem for free. Great Shure customer service!Just know that if you are close to an AM transmitter you will need the attunuators from Shure.

I work in a television station that also has 7 radio stations. I use this mic in the TV studio on a set where anything goes, prewiews of plays, cooking, music, dance performances etc. This mic hangs from he grid to fill in the audio I can't get with shure 57 and 58s. I also use it in a small production studio interviewing band members. This mic just fills in where people have something to say but are off mice to the mics on stands. Its also great in conference rooms to record the audio of meetings. I own 4 or 5 of them. They are also almost invisable.
