The rear lens cap is a necessity in the camera bag. My Canon Rebel came with one when I bought it. I went outside to take some photos and lost it near the lake at my home. Devils Lake got a great taste of plastic that day. I was worried about something happening to my camera until I received the rear lens cap. Definitely a product that photographers should have two of so this incident doesn't happen to them.

I bought this to replace a couple of lost rear caps for lenses. Unfortunately, I had to do some juggling because the wide flange at the bottom of the cap keeps this from fitting all my lenses; some of them don't have enough clearance for the flange, so they don't fully seat. The original caps didn't have those flanges.

Comments about Canon Lens Dust Cap E (Rear):

I for some reason thought that these would fit on the camera body to cover the front of the camera, but I should have done more research. It is the PERFECT replacement caps for your E series lenses though, since they are manufactured by Canon. I purchased two since they weren't very expensive. They will come in handy since I almost lost one of my original ones while on vacation.

I have 1 extra handy in my camera bag and I usually shoot with it in my back pocket. These caps get swapped around so much throughout the day everytime a lens is changed, it's very handy to have an extra. Plus they're easy to lose.

Comments about Canon Lens Dust Cap E (Rear):

It's surprisingly too easy to misplace your dust cap in the wedding industry. It's nice to have a few handy back-up caps. Glad you're able to buy these separate.

I bought this cap as a replacement for my Canon EF lens after I misplaced the original one. It's identical to the original rear cap that comes with Canon EF lenses. It keeps the dust out of the lens and fits like a glove. It's also priced very well. I have absolutely no complaints about this dust cap.

These things have a tendency to disappear into a void that also attracts bobby pins, hair ties, keys, and lens caps. I bought 3 and expect that when I need more, this is where I'll buy them. They do a great job of being dust caps.

Comments about Canon Lens Dust Cap E (Rear):

I recently purchased a used lens and it came with a third party rear lens cap, so I decided to replace it with this one and as usual, Canon delivered a great product just as expected.
