Savage paper rolls are great. There are usually a few minor tears in the first foot or so, but nothing too serious. The color of the Smoke Gray is perfect for our studio product photography. We use a roll of the Super White for most of our products, but the Smoke Gray is great for anything clear or white that wouldn't show up on white background. I gave it 4 stars because it's not available in a 6-foot length (which is the size of my LastoLite CubeLite) so I have to saw a chunk off the roll before I can use it. A pain, but not much I can do about it...

I use the background in my studio and i love the papers from B&H. I have bought elsewhere once and that did not work out so well. I love how thick they are and easy to use!!!!

Nice weight paper. Customer service was very helpful to let me know this was the closest color to the 18% gray card. Used primarily for indoor studio shooting.

I was hoping it would be a bit darker, but all monitors are different, so... oh well. You can go to the savage website and request a brochure that has small swatches of the actual papers glued to it so you can know exactly what color you're buying. [...] Still, a great product. Very thick and durable. Just keep in mind that you have to store it after you use it, and it's really long. And that you should store it upright to prevent wrinkles...

Love, love this gray. It is a rich gorgeous color and looks good with just about anything!!!
Large enough for a family of 5 or 6.
Only think I dislike...the first 2' of my paper are ALWAYS unusable! Forget the tape...it would work better that way!

I am just starting out in the photography business, and this is one of the best products I've bought. I love the grey color it looks good when converted to black and white also. I recently used to to photograph a family of six and it turned out beautiful.
