The Zing Large Universal Eveready SLR Camera Case (Black) is a one-piece, wrap-around neoprene cover that stretches over the lens and self-secures without buckles, snaps or zippers. Styled like an eveready SLR case, but made with the advantages of neoprene. It is extremely flexible and fits a wide range of lens lengths and camera bodies. The case bottom attaches to the camera body by running a camera strap (not included) through keeper loops sewn into the case interior. The top fastens to the bottom with dual thumb release clips; swings out of the way quickly for shooting, or it can be removed completely. This system enables quick changing of film, and is very easy to use. Touch fastener tabs allow adjustment to fit different lens/body combinations.

Comments about Zing Designs Large Universal Eveready SLR Camera Case:
I had a Zing case for my old film SLR and loved it. I just want a quick cover to provide a little protection. Part of this cover permanently sits over the back on the digital SLR which obviously covers the monitor and half the buttons. Don't know how it would work on a regular SLR, but it looked a bit cumbersome.

Comments about Zing Designs Large Universal Eveready SLR Camera Case:
I wanted a case for my new Panasonic G2. This is not appropriate because part of the case fits around the body, which limits the use of the LCD screen. It's much more appropriate for a film SLR or DSLR that doesn't have a screen (does one exist?)
If it had been designed differently, it would have been fine. My purpose was to get a case that would protect my camera in my backpack, but be light, easy off/on, and hard to lose. This satisfied all those criteria, but I couldn't get to my LCD screen.
I ordered two different cases so I could choose, and I returned this one.

Comments about Zing Designs Large Universal Eveready SLR Camera Case:
Probably my fault...probably mentioned this in the description...but i bought this for traveling with my canon 7d and it def does not fit properly - i still was able to use it but def had to stretch it out.
Good for smaller / more traditional SLRs.

Comments about Zing Designs Large Universal Eveready SLR Camera Case:
I used this to protect my Minolta XG-1 from scratches and water. My camera was in the rain several times (on a boat out at sea and in several forest expeditions) and the Zing case protected it from getting wet every time. Very good protection for the price. My same case for the XG-1 is too small for my new Canon Xs with the kit lens though.
