This works as expected. The cable is long enough to reach from the unit, which is attached atop a tripod, to a power stip located below the tripod. An extra foot or two of length would be the only thing to make this better.

I use this with the MP-101 as I try to avoid batteries as much as possible. It works fine. It doesn't look like it will last very long due to the wire being so thin.
