Comments about Matthews Quacker Clamp:
Holds big pieces of foamcore, beadboard, etc. in place on set with it's visegrip-meets-duckbill type design. It handles a 4x4 ' piece with ease, at whatever angle you can rig it up a C-stand/arm/grip head. It can also handle a 4 x 8 piece of foamcore well...at more symmetrical or balanced angles. Don't forget to sandbag it!

Comments about Matthews Quacker Clamp:
I was able to use this with a C-Stand & foam core to really load bounced light for an important interview. Set up was seconds & held perfectly 1/2 foam core well.

Comments about Matthews Quacker Clamp:
If you're willing to dedicate a boom or light stand to it, this gizmo will hold a piece of reflective foamcore in whatever position you need a reflector. Holds well, but it's really good at only one thing and due to its bulk and weight you may find different clamps more deserving of space within your light kit. Worth having in a well-stocked studio. Better known as a "quacker" clamp (note additional c, given the duckbill clamp section). Not particularly complex, it just does what it does without fuss. If you're handy welding you could make one yourself from vice grips, a baby pin, and some sheet metal.

Comments about Matthews Quacker Clamp:
These are great for holding foam/gator board. Easy quick set up. Just attach a grip head to a c-stand. Mount the quaker clamp in the grip head and your ready to go.
