I bought a pair to help hang a cross bar for a seamless white background. I was impressed by the safety button that must be depressed in order to remove the clamp from the light stand. Even with the thumb screw loose, the clamp won't fall off. The cast aluminum construction body make this both light and strong.

Not bad, but Manfrotto is better
These aren't as solid as the Manfrotto super-clamp. They're not *that* bad, and OK for light-duty work, but I'll be buying the real thing (Manfrotto) from now on.

Sturdy clamp useful for not only attaching to truss but any other surface which the clamp jaws will fit around. Would be nice if description included more detailed info such as material of construction. Had to use other reviews and live chat to verify this was an all-metal version. I use this clamp atop Manfrotto Avenger 12'8 stands to hold backdrops wrapped around aluminium piping. The build quality is satisfyingly solid and they clamp down firmly. I have no issues using them whatsoever; they perform the job they were bought to do at a reasonable price point.
