Profoto Honeycomb Grid, 25 Degrees, for Softlight Reflector
This grid narrows the beam of light from the Profoto Softlight Reflector. It provides a beam spread of 25°.
Grids are essential accessories for any lighting system. These devices alter the shape and intensity of the light output from your flash heads. Use of a grid will result in a small circle of light, when it is attached to the front of your light source. The size of the circle of light will be determined by the density of the honeycomb, its thickness, and the distance of the subject.

The grid does exactly what it says it does, and greatly reduces light spill from the profoto beauty dish. I am very satisfied in its performance. Although for its rather high price tag, I was hoping for all metal construction, and the actual grid appears to be plastic surrounded by a metal ring.

Profoto's reputation for excellent attention to detail and sturdy construction applies to this product as well. The honeycomb grid is very well made as well as being an efficent modifier. A must have with a beauty dish for greater control and drama within your lighting schematic. For location photographers, I recommend you buy a case to keep the grid and beauty dish together. By nature all honeycomb grids are easily damaged, compromising their ability to concentrate light

Love this grid, a well-made solid product but it can fall out of the softlight on the odd occasion. You need to adjust the locating clips every now and then to keep the tension. Directs the light where you want it.
