Comments about Giottos IY442 3-Section Tripod with Fluid-Effect 3-Way Head:

Bought this for my wife for casual hobbyist use. Very lightweight and functionally it does the job quite well. Mostly plastic construction that seems like it will hold up well if used with care. This works for her type of shooting, which is mostly walking around the city, park, beach, etc. I would certainly never consider this for professional use, where setup often needs to be quick and gear can get banged around a lot.

Bought this as an inexpensive tripod to use with a 5th grade tv production crew. Light enough for kids to move around. Sturdy.
