Hoya 58mm Enhancing (Intensifier) Glass Filter

You Pay: $32.47

The Hoya Enhancing filter is a combination of rare earth elements(didymium)in glass. It removes a portion of the spectrum in the orange region, increasing the color saturation of reddish objects by eliminating the muddy tones and maximizing the red hues with minimal effect on other colors. Its most frequent use is for obtaining strongly saturated photographs of fall foliage.

Comments about Hoya 58mm Enhancing (Intensifier) Glass Filter:

Purchased this for enhancing Milky Way Photos, Sky scape work. The "clear" filter is made of a mineral glass that passes all light, enhancing only the "Fall Colors". In this case they were purchased to enhance the natural colors of the Milky Way and HA Nebula Gas. Works like a "Charm" saving hundreds on a True Hydrogen Narrow Band Filter. This Ones a Keeper, works well in all compositions.

Comments about Hoya 58mm Enhancing (Intensifier) Glass Filter:

I used this filter on a recent trip the Smoky Mountains. I was shooting with a Canon EOS XSi, 18-55mm lens and mostly nature and landscape photos. The filter works great for enhancing fall color. The example photo in the ad is reflective of the type of results you will get.
