    Great tonal range

I'm creating a body of work for art school graduation with this paper. The intimacy of warm-tone paper for portraits doesn't take away from the dramatic tonal range of the paper. Highly recommend.

I usually print on glossy surface paper, but I figured I'd give the semi-matte a try. I shoot a lot at night, and the matte surface doesn't hold down the blacks all that well, the result being generally flat, low-contrast prints. It does work for some photos (generally those which are inherently more contrasty, i.e., backlight subjects), but roughly two-thirds of my prints on this surface are just way too flat.

That said, the paper looks beautiful framed . Putting it behind glass really adds the contrast it needs.

Its definitely worth trying to see if it suits your aesthetic, or if you plan on framing, but don't go out and stock up on it until you've tried it out.

I work at a University teaching in the darkroom and this is some of my favorite paper. The warmtones lend a lovely olive tone to skin tones, also this paper tones very well. I recommend this paper to all of my students and fellow artists.
