Easy to use and very secure. Harder to use for very large prints, though. Those I have mounted by the lab.

Comments about Nielsen & Bainbridge Studio Tac - 11.5 x 17.5" - 20 Sheets:
Used for Fine art collage greeting cards and photo/illustration stories on 20 x 24 mat boards. I use this regularly and would give it five stars if it was not so dang expensive... Works extremely well on cut work, and dried plants/leaves/flowers photographs and paper.... Very nice clean edges and not difficult to use. You could rate the cost at $$$$$ : ) Thanks for the fast shipping and good packaging as all arrived intact ~ get it : O
Note: I would not even bother with the less tacky version of this product as it does not do well at all in any way I tried it.

Comments about Nielsen & Bainbridge Studio Tac - 11.5 x 17.5" - 20 Sheets:
This is the best product I have found so far for mounting photographic prints on foamcore. I've been using it for three years and it has adhered well except on Elmer's foamcore. On higher end, acid-free, archival foamcores, I've had no problems. One does need to take considerable care to avoid getting the adhesive dots where they aren't wanted. Since tabloid-size photo paper is 13 x 19, the size of the studiotac sheets (11.5 x 17.5) further complicates application. In all, it is not ideal but has given satisfactory results. For "ideal," I suppose I would have to spring for a drymount press.

Just prepared 35 8 x 10 and 19 x 23 photos mounted on foam board for exhibit using Studio Tac. Could not have been simpler - and the photos look great!
No bubbles or wrinkles - perfectly flat and tight on the boards. Quick, easy to cut to shape and trim.

Thanks to Studio Tac, the days of mounting photos with nasty spray glue aerosols and gummy liquid rubber cement are over. This transfer adhesive is totally awesome - comes in big 11.5 x 17.5 sheets - is instant & permanent with no ugly strike through, no odor & no residue. You can't beat it for ease of use & value! All pros; no cons!

Comments about Nielsen & Bainbridge Studio Tac - 11.5 x 17.5" - 20 Sheets:
I am a professional silhouette artist and use this product every day. It is relatively quick and clean, and thankfully repositionable. For my purposes, it also lends itself well to irregular shapes.
On the downside, sometimes small beads of the glue make their way onto the surface of the work. In my applications, they can usually be cleaned very simply with a small bit of Uhu tac or a very gentle pencil eraser. The tackiness of the product is sometimes inconsistent, and this problem with stray beads is worse with especially tacky batches.

Many people don't know about this product. First it is very hard to find. I wish more stores had it.
It is really good, because it is not messy, and you can re-position your work.

Comments about Nielsen & Bainbridge Studio Tac - 11.5 x 17.5" - 20 Sheets:
I used the product to assemble a catalog for a fictional exhibition at the art museum where I lived (it was a class assignment). The product was really easy to use, and does exactly what it's supposed to (provide an aggressive stay-put bond). The only thing I didn't particularly like was that little adhesive particles would sometimes get on my fingers, and would get on the cover of my project (thankfully it's not spray adhesive and I was able to get it off with no real damage to the end product for the assignment).
